Frankly, the winter that made me the most panicky Frankly, the winter that made me the most panicky ever was when we lived in Boston for one year

I could hardly enjoy the spectacular New England fall because I was so nervous about the winter I knew was coming (and especially my 30 commute in the winter!)

Now I’m surprised by how much I enjoy the coziness of January and February (although when we visit somewhere warm in the winter, my mood skyrockets in the sunshine!)

I asked my Instagram community to share their best suggestions for making winter more joyful and less gloomy and there were so many good ideas - comment with the word POST and I’ll send those your way!
It is funny looking back at Goodreads because some It is funny looking back at Goodreads because some of those books I remember so so clearly - I can remember snuggling up with my 6 year old to read aloud or reading the library copy on our porch swing while my kids played outside.

And others? I cannot remember AT ALL. If you’d showed me the cover and said “have you read this book?” I would be 100% convinced I’d never even seen that book before, let alone read it all the way through.

(P.S. If you’d like to follow me on Goodreads, reply with LINK and I’ll send my profile your way!)
I’m always on the lookout for new book recommend I’m always on the lookout for new book recommendations for my children (both for them to read solo and for me to read aloud to them!) and The Good and the Beautiful book list has so many great options!

You can filter by age level, genre, and more, and if you know The Good and the Beautiful, you know they’re famous for picking really high quality books with content you can feel comfortable with!

And it’s all free!

(Note that this doesn’t mean doing a complete puzzle every day - it just means that I spend some time working on a puzzle each day)

After a million DMs over the years asking about my favorite puzzle brands, I finally put together a list of my all-time faves plus my favorite picks from those brands!

This Spanx sale is INSANE.  So many good items a This Spanx sale is INSANE.

So many good items at incredible prices. Like these jeans I have and love? Under $35.

And the longer version of the crewneck I raved about? Mega sale.

Also the half-zip. So good.

No idea how long this sale will last (and I promise that sizes will go faaaaast!)

If I had a dollar for every person who had told me If I had a dollar for every person who had told me you couldn’t read a library book without exiting a kids profile.

The good news is that this is totally false - my kids have been reading library books from Libby in their kids profiles for years!

And it’s not hard to add them. You just have to know how to do it!

I hope this is helpful!
