Four Favorites for February

January felt like it took FOREVER but February is flying by!

Between Valentine’s Day, two birthdays and a couple of weekend trips, it’s been go-go-go all month long!

Here are some of my favorite things this month:

Four Favorites for February

beauty spatulaBEAUTY SPATULA
This was on my Christmas wishlist and it showed up in my stocking on Christmas morning. I LOVE this thing – it is wild how much more product you can get out of a bottle long after you thought you’d absolutely scraped the bottom. I hate waste and I love getting my money’s worth so this is the best $7 ever for me.

HERE FOR THE DRAMA HUGGIES
I LOVE Hey June huggie earrings and wear them pretty much every day. For the last many months, my absolute favorites have been the 90s Huggies but these ones are giving them a run for their money. They’re just so good – the perfect mix of subtle and fun and I’ve been wearing them nonstop. My code is JANSSEN.

Leather KizikLEATHER KIZIKS
I got my first pair of Kiziks about 18 months ago and have worn them a ton (including in Japan!) and I finally got a second pair earlier this month. Since my first pair are purple and a little more of a statement, I went with a more neutral pair this time around and I’m LOVING them! They’re comfortable with zero break-in time (just like my first pair) and I can’t get over the convenience of being able to just step into my shoes, hands-free! I sized up half a size in this style, which is what Kizik recommended (I didn’t size up in my original pair and there was no need to!). My code is EVERYDAYREADING10.

CRASH LANDING ON YOU
I’ve been meaning to watch this K-Drama for more than a year and we finally started watching it with Ella over Christmas break. It’s pretty long – 16 episodes and each one is well over an hour – so we’re not quite done with it but Bart, Ella and I are all VERY into it and sneak in 20-30 minutes of watching most nights after the little girls are in bed for the night. It’s available on Netflix!

And here are favorite picks from my team!

paint by numberPaint by Number
I am not really a fun shopper. I love to buy practical things that I’ll use regularly. However, I was enticed/bombarded by Instagram ads of paint by numbers. So instead of getting another sensible (but well loved) gift, I asked my husband to get me this one for Christmas. I just found the time to start and it has been such a fun creative outlet for me and has made me so happy! I love to do while listening to an audiobook, with my kids painting/coloring next to me or while watching a mindless show. There are tons of other fun options here too!

Neck PillowTravel Pillow

My husband and I recently went on several very long overnight flights. I wanted to find a pillow that would help me be comfortable and allow for sleep as much as possible. I opted for this one after reading the reviews and knowing I wanted something soft and squishy, but also comp-actable that would fit in my backpack. My husband got a neck brace type pillow that was three times the cost of the one I chose and he ended up borrowing my pillow some of the time! I like this one because it offered neck support, but I could also bunch it up against the window and use it that way.

Cleaning Gloves
I have never loved a pair of gloves more in my entire life. During the winter, with the heater constantly running, and the extra hand washing (hello, winter germs), my hands are always dry and cracked. But these gloves have helped immensely when it comes to washing dishes or cleaning the bathroom. They are made of a cotton lined thick latex with a waterblock cuff to catch extra drips. Plus, they are under $10! Can I say that I actually look forward to doing the dishes?
