Bart’s Favorite Products This Year
This list of Bart’s favorite products of the year has been going strong for two years now (you can see the 2023 list here and the 2022 list here), and he is back with his favorite products from 2024!
(If you missed MY favorite products of the year post, it’s right here!)
Nike Golf Hats
For how ubiquitous hats are, it is surprisingly hard to find a good one! But these Nike ones are A+ – perfect shape and size and Bart has ones in black and white (he learned the hard way that the ones on Amazon are NOT as good as the ones directly from Nike).
Bart says: In my mind, this is the perfect hat. Comfortable, good looking and easy to wash.
G Gradual Joggers
At a family party this fall, Bart’s cousin showed up wearing these joggers and both Bart and I noticed and commented on them. Then he told us they were from Amazon, Bart ordered them the next day and now has multiple pairs. And right now during the winter, he’s especially loving the fleece lined version for extra warmth!
Bart says: Somehow, I just keep getting more and more comfortable daily joggers. Good for my old-age flexibility!
Power Strip and Cable Holder Clips
I’ve long hated the look of exposed cords but suddenly Bart decided he did too this year and he’s been steadily improving all our outlets (hooray!). He bought this power strip (which is super nice because it has USB outlets too!) and used these command tabs to mount it to the back of his bedside table and then added cable holder clips to the top of his bedside table so everything stays in place. I’m a huge fan of now more unsightly cords hanging down from his table when I walk past it 50 times a day! We ended up buying more for our girls’ rooms too to contain all the cords!
Bart says: What started out as a way to make Janssen happy turned into a similar sense of joy that I get from an efficient spreadsheet.
PJ Paul Jones Sweaters
Bart is a sweater LOVER and every winter he adds a new one or two to his closet so he can be cozy and warm all day every day. These sweaters are from Amazon and have been fantastic.
Bart says: I was looking for something that wasn’t a hoodie and made my joggers look a little more polished.
Freak Athlete Hyper Pro
Frankly, I don’t really understand this machine but Bart added it to our home gym this year and he is THRILLED about it.
Bart says: I’m trying to get better about legs day and core exercises. This is an incredible all-in-one bench for a home gym that’s upleveled my ability to get in a lot of the important core exercises that I would normally skip.
Mucinex DM 12Hr Maximum Strength Cold Medicine
I laughed when I saw this one on the list because LAST year his favorite cough drops made the list. What can I say? Bart does not like to be sick!
Bart says: It turns out that I love things that give me relief when I’m sick.
Smartish iPhone 15 Pro Wallet Case
This phone case actually made the list when Bart did his first “favorite products of the year” post back in 2022. He loved it so much that when he upgraded his phone this year, he got another of the same case for his new phone! That’s a true favorite product!
Bart says: It protects my phone, but it’s not too bulky and it is so convenient to have a few key cards always with me.
Travel Pillow with Eye Mask
Bart’s parents gave each of us one of these travel pillows (although pillow isn’t QUITE the right word) and they have been fantastic, especially for a few international flights this fall and an ill-advised red eye flight in November. I love that it keeps your head from bobbing around and that it’s nice and dark even when they turn on all the lights on the plane! (Our 12 year old used and loved it too on a few flights!).
Bart says: I was highly skeptical of this because neck pillows have never even come close to working for me. Turns out I just needed something to hold my forehead up.
Nike Windrunner Puffer Coat
You may have gathered that Bart does NOT like to be cold and living somewhere like Utah means you really want a great coat. This Nike coat was a huge huge win for Bart – it is super warm and cozy.
Bart says: So warm and comfortable. Almost makes me look forward to winter. Almost.
Lenuto Portable Charger
With his new phone, our old small portable chargers no longer worked with his phone, so Bart bought one of these for our Croatia trip. Worked like a charm (and I love that display that shows the percentage – I wish mine had that!).
Bart says: I have an abundance mindset about almost everything except battery life. This helps me travel knowing I can rely on my phone all day.
And this year everyone on my team asked THEIR husbands what their favorite products of the year have been – I loved seeing these and hope they’re helpful for you too!

Refillable Cologne Travel Bottles
My husband has worn Acqua di Gio for years, but hasn’t figured out a great way to bring it along when we traveled. I looked into getting him the travel size and almost died when I saw the price tag so I found a work around! These little dispensers are amazing. You just take the top off your regular cologne, stick it in the bottom of the travel bottle and pump some in. And because you get four for only $5, he can have one in his gym bag, truck, office and his travel bag. SO convenient and a great stocking stuffer!
Dewalt Leaf Blower
This is going to sound crazy, but we have zero trees in our yard. So no leaves – and this leaf blower gets used all of the time by my husband (and me). He was incredibly dubious too when my parents gave it to him for his birthday and now he’s blowing out the garage, the sidewalks after mowing, opening opposite car doors and blasting the air to do a quick car clean up. It’s incredibly handy.

Xtratuf Rain Boots
When we moved from the high desert West to the Midwest, we had no idea how much rain we would be dealing with. But it turns out…A LOT! My husband got these boots last year for all the rainy days and he wears them all the time. They are extremely durable, waterproof, easy to slip on/off, and comfortable. He also likes that they are neutral enough he can wear them with some of his more casual workwear without having to change shoes after a downpour.
Folding Proofer
My husband loves to cook and bake – he’s a bit of a foodie. And when a proofing drawer like the ones from The Great British Baking Show required an entire kitchen renovation, he was excited about this alternative. He uses it multiple times a week for homemade bread, yogurt, and other fun goodies, and he says it has transformed his baking by providing the perfect proofing temperature. My favorite part is that it folds flat and takes up hardly any space.

Hoka Speedgoats
My husband is pretty big into trail running. He runs all year round and ran a 50 mile trail race and a road marathon this past year. All this to say he goes through a lot of running shoes. He loves his Hoka Speedgoat trail shoes. They are so supportive and great for running the rocky trails near our home. He loved them so much I was convinced to buy the women’s version and I have to say he knows his shoes!
Vitamix Blender
We just recently purchased a Vitamix blender after having a Ninja blender for years and never really loving it. My husband loves to make green smoothies in the morning after a workout and before he heads to work. It’s such an easy way to get in a nutrition packed breakfast on the run. The Vitamix has been a dream to use and makes smoothies with the perfect consistency! We are excited to try out making more things.

Harmonies
I’ve never met someone more obsessed with board games than my husband. His collection is extensive to say the least! He says this is, by far, his favorite game of the year. It’s accessible yet strategic, the artwork is beautiful, and it’s great game play for all ages.
Running Shorts
My husband runs nearly every day during his lunch break and is picky about what he wears. These are his favorite running shorts ever. He bought one pair and has asked for a few more for Christmas. They’re really comfortable and he loves that his phone fits nicely in the inner layer’s side pocket.
