When I was maybe 8 or 9, my mom got invited to a cookie exchange party in our neighborhood with a bunch of other neighborhood moms.
She made these dipped Oreo Cookies and I’ve remembered them for more than two decades because they are SO CUTE.
I started making these Oreo dipped cookies again back when we lived in North Carolina and have been obsessed with them ever since.
They’re the perfect semi homemade cookie recipe and super easy for kids to be involved in.
Calling it a recipe feels like a stretch – you basically buy a package of Oreos, some almond bark and dipping chocolate and a bag of Teddy Grahams.
Then you melt the almond bark or chocolate, dip in the Oreo cookies one at a time, shake them off with a fork and stick them on a cooling rack.
Press a Teddy Graham into the top (my girls love to help with this part) and voila!
The cutest Oreo cookies in the world.
If you’re looking for a fun edible treat for neighbor gifts or teacher gifts, you can’t do better than this, since you can make a massive batch in no time at all.
You can speed up the cooling by sticking them in the fridge for a minute or you can even swap out the Oreos for Ritz crackers if you want something that has more of a sweet AND salty profile.
Basically the options are endless.
Plus, if you love a pun, they lend themselves perfectly to a little card that says “Have yourself a beary little Christmas” or something else delightfully cheesy.
These are a close tie with my other favorite semi homemade Christmas cookies.
To be safe, I recommend you make them both.

Dipped Oreo Cookies with Teddy Graham Toppers
These darling semi homemade cookies are perfect for making with kids and are the best neighbor or teacher gift you can imagine!
Ingredients
- 1 package Oreo cookies any flavor
- 12 ounces almond bark
- 12 ounces dipping chocolate
- 1 package Teddy Graham crackers
Instructions
-
Set out a cookie sheet with a cooling rack arranged inside it (if you don't have a cooling rack, line your cookie sheet with a silicone liner or parchment paper to prevent sticking)
-
In a saucepan or double boiler, melt the almond bark over medium-low heat, stirring frequently. Once it's completely smooth, drop one Oreo cookie into the melted bark and cover completely. Lift out the cookie with a fork and shake it gently to remove any excess bark.
-
Place it carefully on the cooling rack or cookie sheet and gently press a Teddy Graham into the center.
-
Repeat with half the cookies, then melt the chocolate bark and dip the second half of the cookies.
-
Let cool on the counter or in the fridge until the bark is completely set.
Recipe Notes
I don't recommend you use melted chocolate chips - they'll be really messy to eat because the chocolate melts so quickly in your hands!
