My Husband’s Favorite Products From 2025
This list of Bart’s favorite products of the year has been going strong for three years now (you can see the 2024 list here, 2023 list here, and the 2022 list here), and he is back with his favorite products from 2025!
(If you missed MY favorite products of the year post, it’s right here! And has significantly less workout-related things on it).

My Husband’s Favorite Products From 2025

Creatine Gummies
Bart bought these and then when he finished the jar ordered another highly rated ones. He tried one and it was so bad that he immediately returned it and returned to these which he looks forward to every single day.
Bart says: Apparently Creatine is ridiculously good for me as I age, from muscles to brain health. Finding something that makes me WANT to take it every day is a game changer.

Core Power
One of my best gifts to Bart about five years ago was a mini fridge for our gym and ours is always stocked with these protein drinks!
Bart says: Most delicious way to get 42 grams of protein after a workout.

Kettlebells
Bart loves having a home gym (you can see a little tour of it here) and these are a new addition he’s absolutely loved.
Bart says: I’ve avoided these for years and all of a sudden I’m in love.

Gradual Running Shirt
With cold weather here, Bart added a few of these to his workout wardrobe and he’s loved them as much as everything else from the G Gradual brand.
Bart says: What started out with liking their pants “gradually” turned into buying everything they make.

Face Lotion
A perfect combination with his detailed skin routine of . . . washing his face with a bar of Irish Spring in the shower.
Bart says: I like the SPF 15 – doesn’t feel at all greasy and it is super inexpensive (way more affordable than Cetaphil which I’ve been using for a long time).

Hair Matte Cream
Pretty sure Bart didn’t own a single hair product when we got married. He’s come a long way!
Bart says: I found this at the salon and was thrilled to find it on Amazon.

Standing Desk
This has been a big upgrade for him and now I’m considering getting one for myself!
Bart says: I’ve been thinking about getting one for years but it seemed complicated and difficult for some reason. This desk has been so easy and such a nice upgrade for my office. Bonus: I paid my 10 year old to put it together and she did a phenomenal job!

Creator Microphone
This, on the other hand, I’m not considering getting for myself because I don’t want any more meetings.
Bart says: I have enough online meetings that a really simple desktop microphone made sense and this is my favorite one yet.

Workout Running Shorts
I love these shorts – perfect length and super flattering. I always thought workout shorts on men were pretty frumpy until these entered the picture. A+ from me.
Bart says: This may sound funny, but I’ve been searching for good athletic shorts that I like for years. It has been hit or miss and I’ve finally found something I really like and bought enough pairs for the whole week!

Nike Men’s Flex Control
Bart is a sneaker guy through and through (and comfort is his #1 priority). These are his very favorites.
Bart says: White is risky with shoes because they get dirty fairly quickly but I’ve found that I wear them a lot more than the black version and they’re fairly easy to clean.

Pickleball Paddle
Is this the pickleball paddle I’d recommend for a beginner? No chance. But for someone who really cares and plays a lot? This one is a winner.
Bart says: Hands down the best paddle for me. Not cheap but totally worth it!
And here are the picks from the husbands of the women on my team!

Melin Hat
I bought this for my husband last year and he wears it all of the time. He runs really hot, especially from his head and he loves how breathable this one is and the fit is fantastic. It is really expensive, but because he isn’t a hat collector I knew this one would be worn time and time again, making it a worthy purchase.

Exfoliating Shower Towel
I put this in his stocking last year and he was really dubious. I actually ended up opening it up and putting in the shower to motivate him to use it. And what do you know – he uses it every single day!

Blackstone Grill
I got my husband a Blackstone grill for Father’s Day and it ended up being a wonderful gift to myself- mostly because my husband cooks so much more now! We use it all the time and love grilling smash burgers, tacos, and breakfast items galore! The huge skillet surface is way more versatile than a typical BBQ grill. It is easy to cook a lot of food at once to feed a crowd and we have loved hosting neighborhood taco nights, breakfasts, and BBQs!

Hamburger Spatula
This spatula is awesome for flipping burgers on the Blackstone (or any grill). It is extra wide and so nice for grilling or flipping pancakes when a normal size spatula just doesn’t cut it.

Give’r Gloves
I bought these for my husband last Christmas, and he absolutely LOVES them. He’d been using some inexpensive leather gloves from the home improvement store, but they wore out quickly and did nothing to keep his hands warm during winter yard work. He’s outside a lot – cleaning out our gutters, doing yard projects, working in the cold – and these gloves have been a total upgrade. They’re warm, waterproof, and incredibly durable. You do need to treat them with wax, but it’s a small step for how long-lasting and high-quality they are. I’m confident these will serve him well for years!

Jeopardy! Calendar
This is something my husband uses every single day…and he’s fully committed. He’s been doing a daily Jeopardy! calendar for six years now, and I honestly don’t think he could go without it. His parents and siblings all have one too, and they keep a low-key competition going throughout the year. It’s a definite favorite that gets used again and again. Plus, it’s just fun – every day brings a new Jeopardy! clue to solve!

For the workout types: this year I really prioritized recovery from intense workouts. For reference my husband is a competitive strongman and I’m an avid road runner
Best recovery tools:
Normatec Go Compression sleeves- a smaller and less daunting tool than the full boots. Easily portable and perfect for having in the car following a race or long run to jumpstart recovery.
R8+ Roller- I just got this amazing tool and I’m here to share the good word. Perfect for legs and easy enough to utilize while watching tv (especially if you want to avoid sitting in a cold garage!)
Pliability membership: who knew daily stretching would be beneficial? This is also an Apple TV app, so again, can easily switch to doing inside when the garage gym is too cold
Massage: I cannot stress this one enough- sometimes even the most perfect and versatile tools need human help. Having frequent massages helped me recover from marathon training (even if in the moment I was less than thrilled at the discovery of knots!)
What’s next: to keep recovery going into 2026, I put a Tigertail and yoga block on my list to have even more options
What I gifted my running group: my homemade electrolyte powder and a pair of reusable hand warmers
