Favorite Things – July 2025
I am a little shook that July is almost over.
My girls go back to school in just a few weeks and I’m not ready! We’ve been playing so much pickleball, taking evening hikes with various combinations of our kids, and hanging out with friends nonstop.
Here are some of my favorite things from this month!

July Favorite Things

Yoto Cards Tabs and Rings
I’ve tried a lot of Yoto card organizing systems and this is hands down the best one I’ve tried. It is so easy to manage and so affordable – these have been one of the bestsellers this month and for good reason. If you have Yoto cards, I definitely encourage you to try these out!

Bedazzling Set
I’ve talked about these already this month but I can’t resist mentioning them again because these were THE thing in my house this month. Every piano book and notebook in our house has gotten the bedazzling treatment and lots of picture books and chapter books. This is super fun activity for reunions, girls camp, book clubs, or just a summer afternoon at home.

Button Down Shirts
These have been my girls’ uniform this summer – I first ordered a couple for my redhead who was getting her arms and neck burned every time she played outside and these provided a nice light layer with good coverage. She loved them so much my other girls asked for them too and now we own a ton of them and they get worn every day! Perfect for popping over a tee or swimsuit!

Laser Cut Workout Tee
I have been playing a LOT of pickleball this summer and I do not want my shoulders and back getting burned so I always wear a workout shirt with short sleeves (I wore a tank early in the summer and even with sunscreen got a little crispy, so I’ve switched entirely to tees this summer). This is my favorite one – I have it in two colors – and they’re the first ones I reach for when my laundry is done!
And here are my team’s favorite picks!

Ring Rush
We swim a lot in the summer and are always looking for a new game to play in the pool and this has been the game. It’s really simple, but has provided hours of entertainment. It comes with a bunch of waterproof cards and diving rings. The caller (usually me) picks out a card with a certain pattern the swimmers have to memorize and then swim to go grab said colored rings and put them in the right order. It really has been so fun!

Outdoor Play Water Pump
One of the best backyard play upgrades we’ve made is adding this manual water pump to my kids’ mud kitchen! No more hose left running all day – and the kids actually love pumping their own water! I just refill the jug as needed, and they’re ready to go. The pump screws right onto a standard 5-gallon jug (I grabbed mine at the grocery store) and is easy enough for my 3-year-old to use. Bonus: if you’re not picky about the color, you can usually snag one on sale for under $15.

Self Tanner At this point in my life I’ve finally accepted that I’m always going to be pretty pasty white, but this self tanner has been my secret to having a little golden glow this summer! This is one of the only self tanning products I’ve found that doesn’t give me an Oompa Loompa like orange tinge. It goes on white, smells great, has clean ingredients and gives very natural looking color. I’m a huge fan!

Oval Foundation Brush
I can’t believe how great this foundation brush is for only $7.49. It’s super soft, the bristles are dense enough to blend everything in quickly, and I like that it has a handle—it’s just easier and more satisfying to use than the other makeup brushes in my drawer. It gives a smooth, even finish and it’s held up well with regular use.
