13 Great Kindle Cases
Once you’ve gotten a Kindle, you quickly discover that one of the great delights is picking a fun Kindle case!
I have . . . probably too many Kindle cases, but they’re fun to swap out as the mood strikes me. It’s like jewelry for your Kindle!
Here are some of my favorite Kindle cases, plus what you need to know about a Kindle case:
- Make sure you pick the right size of Kindle case! Every Kindle is a slightly different size based on the generation and model. A Paperwhite Kindle case won’t fit a basic Kindle and a Kindle that is a few years old will need a different size case than a brand-new model. To check what Kindle you have, open the settings in your Kindle by clicking “Settings” then “Device options” and finally “Device info.”
- Adult Kindles and Kid Kindles are identical products and the same size. You’ll still need to check your device info, but a 2022 Paperwhite Kindle and a 2022 Kids Paperwhite Kindle are exactly the same and a case that fits that generation and model will fit either the kids or adult Kindle.
- In my opinion, you do not need a screen protector. As long as you have a Kindle case, I think that’s plenty of protection and unless you are going to be submitting your Kindle to an incredible amount of danger, I wouldn’t bother with getting a screen protector along with your Kindle case.
- If you’re trying to decide what Kindle to buy, I have a whole breakdown of the current options here in my Kindle 101 post!
And here are my favorite Kindle cases!
Page the Shop Kindle cases. These are the Kindle cases that convinced me to branch out from the plain black case that came with my Kindle 5 years ago. I got the Checkmate one when I got my first Paperwhite Kindle last year and I love it! This summer, for my daughter’s birthday, I got her this Kindle case for her basic Kids Kindle.
You Have To Read This Now Kindle cases. These are my other favorite Kindle cases (use the code JANSSEN) and they have such cute options. I have this Something Blue floral on my basic Kindle (my favorite Kindle for travel!) and I also have this Strawberry Glazed Donut case!
Cobak Cases. If you are looking for something that has a handle strap and a stand, this is a great option! It comes in lots of different colors and even a place to put your credit card. A great hands off or easy hold option.
Fintie Slim Kindle Case. One of the best parts about having a Kindle is how easy it is to transport around. You can keep it’s slim profile with one of these Fintie slim cases. With over 30 colors and patterns to choose from, you are bound to find something you love.
Elyse Breanne – If you are a floral lover, she is the queen of cute designs. Good luck choosing which of the 20 floral patterns you want to commit to!
SCSVPM Leather Kindle Case. I know there are people out there who don’t want a flashy Kindle case and these classic black and brown PU leather Kindle cases are stunning and subtle.
Amazon Slim Kindle Case. I own the black one in this design and have absolutely loved it. I love the little Kindle logo on the front right corner and enjoy how sleek it is. It comes in three other colors, all very well done.
Etsy has some terrific Kindle case choices. Below are a handful of my favorites!
Fredrick Family Store Kindle Cases. All five of their cases are neutral but adorable. I wouldn’t mind receiving any of these as a gift!
Yikoco Kindle Cases. Talk about some stunning Kindle cases! These ones are extra fun because you can personalize them with some gold stamping.
Rme Shop Embroidered Lavender Case. If you are looking for something handmade, you can’t go wrong with these designs. And they offer cases in a ton of different Kindle size options, which is really hard to find.
Kiwi FL Case Hand Embroidered. Another hand embroidered Kindle case is this adorable yellow flower design. It just makes me so happy looking at it!
Joy Life Styles Composition Notebook Kindle Case. This one immediately caught my eye. I love the combination of the bright checkered pattern mixed into a composition notebook. The cherry on top is the great reviews this shop has.
Klever Case. Klever Case does a fantastic job in the classic antique book covers Kindle cases. I’m torn between the Floral Green or Vintage Flowers.
I got a pretty floral cover for my kindle for Christmas last year, and it makes me smile every single time I see it (which is multiple times per day). So much better than my peeling blue kids kindle cover it replaced.
I was in Durham yesterday and just bought one of Elyse Breanne’s cases at her shop! They’re all so pretty it was hard to pick one!
