Going the Distance
Over the Memorial Day holiday, our church had a free 5K and 10K on Saturday morning.
After a lot of wishy-washy talk on my part, I finally decided to run the 5K.
Despite it being the morning after school let out, there was a pretty good crowd.
Bart decided to run with me, and he pushed Ella in the jogging stroller while I carried the baby.
The four of us finished with a time of 28:50.
Yes, four!

Maybe it was the tweet about needing a cookie to revive you after falling asleep on the couch that tipped me off. Haha, or not, since… that's something I regularly do and I'm not pregnant. 😉

GAH!!! Oh this makes me so happy! What an adorable post, I love it! When you said, "while I carried the baby," I had a fleeting thought: no way – she RAN while holding Ella?!? But that was instantly replaced with the realization of what was really coming and I suddenly wished you were my next door neighbor so I could run over and give you a congratulatory hug. YAY!!!
