Sisters Share It All: Favorite Clothing Item

This round was Merrick‘s choice and she suggested a favorite item of clothing.

It took me all of half a second to choose my red maternity pants. I wasn’t kidding when I said I love these. (Old Navy sells a non-maternity version too, which I have nothing to say about because I’ve never worn them. Also, I haven’t bought a pair of Old Navy pants that fit me since I was 14).

And a couple of ways to wear that clothing item? Embarrassingly easy. I mean, this is like enabling me to wear the same pants day after day.

Oh yes, I love love love these pants. Let me count the ways or something like that

 

Pretending Fall is Coming: I am so happy to be able to start pulling out some scarves again. And I love the pattern this gives to a plain gray t-shirt (a t-shirt, I might add, that I can’t stop wearing).

Shirt: Shade, Pants: Old Navy, Scarf: H&M, Shoes: Payless

 

Monochrome: I love the monochrome look, but I haven’t had many items that lent themselves well to doing it, except in black or white. So of course this was the very first outfit I wore when these pants arrived in the mail.

Dressed Up: I love the look of jeans and wedges – instant dress-up! And the blazer tones down the stripes a little, I think.

Bright: I bought this tank on a whim at Target because I had a coupon and it was a total of $3. And it’s so long I should be able to wear it my entire pregnancy. I kind of love the bright colors and pattern.

  1. I love your RED PANTS!! I am on the hunt for a pair of cranberry skinny jeans, which is apparently not a color of the season, because I am striking out. Woe is me.

    My favorite thing right now is a gray striped knit blazer, which feels like a sweatshirt but looks grown-up. I am totally wearing that thing to death on my next work trip.

  3. LOVE LOVE the red pants! That's kind of how I feel about my white maternity pants. But red is even better.

    I think you need a funky turquoise necklace to pair with the red pants + pink shirt look, am I right?! 🙂

    Also, I share your love of elbow length sleeves. I just with more companies made more of them, ALL YEAR ROUND. Please!
