Chocolate Peanut Butter Smoothie
I shared a version of this recipe a few years ago, but it had some fussy steps in it, like freezing coconut milk into ice cubes (hello, person with too much time on her hands. . .).
Over the years, this chocolate peanut butter smoothie has remained a staple in our house, but I’ve simplified it so that I can make it without having to think ahead three or four hours.
Because, ain’t nobody got time for that around here.

These smoothies look amazing, and I have all the ingredients! We're definitely making these after nap time today.
Excuse me while I go make myself this exact smoothie. 🙂

Wow! This looks like a yummy and simple to make combo of two of my favorite things- PB & chocolate!
Looking forward to making a smoothie later.
This sounds delicious!
Thank you for sharing this! We have made it a couple of times since you posted the recipe and it has satisfied our cravings.
I can't wait to try this out. Sounds so yummy!

We finally made this, yum! I told my kids it was like a Frosty (which they have had once in their lives). They don't have to know it's a bit healthier!
What a nice Smoothie for the little ones! I love that it has peanut butter, it's more consistent, I surely will do this to my little one soon. Thanks
Considering my kids asked this morning for a "different" kind of smoothie than my usual strawberry and banana. We will definitely be giving this a whirl. http://thesisterprojectblog.com
I keep trying to think of ways to add healthful fats to my kids’ diets. Especially the super skinny middle child’s. . . Thanks! Looks delicious.
I LOVE smoothies, and so does my 3-year-old. Any smoothie with chocolate will surely be a winner with both of us 🙂 she also adores fruit smoothies (especially when any kind of berries are involved) and I do sneak in some kale or spinach sometimes to get her to eat her greens, and she still loves it. I don’t think I’ll do that with this smoothie because I foresee making this as a healthy dessert for us 🙂
This looks so yummy — and how cute is your little girl? I love kids with blue eyes, and I’m secretly hoping mine have blue eyes. 🙂
I’m glad you posted your version of this because I bought the stuff a couple weekends ago and then was stuck because how much coconut milk should I freeze, etc? You solved my problems (and eliminated the weird ingredients.)
I do a version of this recipe but use Almond Milk and instead of cocoa/nips I just use Cacao. I may or may not be addicted to this drink……I can stop whenever I want……….???
Ooh, this looks delicious!
I am definitely making this… Thanks! (Although I won’t possibly be able to look as adorable as Ella while eating it 🙂
