It’s starting to feel legitimately like spring around here (hallelujah!) and I’ve been soaking up the sunshine, including reading outside on our back deck.
It looks like the temperature is going to dip again next week, but I’m pretending that’s not true.
Whether you’re enjoying warmer weather or still trying to finish up winter, there are some great book deals going on this weekend.
Here are some favorites!
(P.S. Amazon’s spring sale is going on right now and three of my favorite book-related accessories are on big sale – my beloved book light is on sale, my all-time favorite earbuds are 25% off (my normal coupon code is only 15% off) and the Echo Dots which my children use literally every day to listen to audiobooks)!
Book Deals for a Spring Weekend
The Death of Mrs. Westaway by Ruth Ware – audiobook
Hal gets a letter informing her of a large inheritance she’s received, but she knows it’s not meant for her. But she thinks her work as a tarot card reader might have given her the skills she needs to snag the cash anyway. I really loved this one – it reminded me of The Thirteenth Tale and Rebecca in the best ways!
The Tattooist of Auschwitz by Heather Morris – audiobook
After the prison tattooist becomes ill, Lale Sokolov, a young Slovakian Jew imprisoned in Auschwitz, takes on the new role. Lale does whatever it takes to survive and along the way finds love in the camp. Based on a true story, this novel is heartbreaking and moving.
Confessions of A Shopaholic by Sophie Kinsella – audiobook
If you know me, you know I have a serious soft spot in my heart for Sophie Kinsella. I find her books so hilarious and this series is no exception. In this light-hearted and hilariously entertaining series, a woman named Becky Bloomwood has a serious addiction to…you guessed it, shopping!
Winnie-the-Pooh by A. A. Milne – audiobook
More than two hours of the timeless classic Winnie the Pooh read by Joel Froomkin. It’s always a favorite around here. (This one is also a Libro.fm title, which means you can make it into a Yoto card!).
