I’ve mentioned before that I’m pretty much the biggest fan of maternity clothing alive.

I don’t get any special satisfaction out of wearing my regular jeans with a rubber band up until I arrive at the hospital to deliver a baby (in fact, I didn’t even bring any non-maternity pants besides leggings to Europe).

All that said, I do love something that I can wear both when I’m pregnant and when I’m not. Hello, cardigans.

My mom brought this one over with her when she came to visit last week (along with two dolls, a tea set, three or four puzzles, Trouble, Old Maid, and a bunch of sticker books. Life has definitely improved at our flat), and I’ve been wearing it non-stop.

It doesn’t hurt that it’s a thick warm sweater and it’s now gotten preeeeetty chilly (by my wimpy Texas/North Carolina standards).

Also, I love the contrast of the red bag against the fairly neutral outfit, but in all honesty, I basically never carry a purse here except on Sundays when I load it up with things to keep the girls quiet during church. Other than that, I just carry around my single house key, my credit card and Oyster card, and my phone either in my coat pockets or the stroller.

  1. Remember how I mentioned I maybe finally found a pair if maternity jeans I like? I lied. I hate them all. Under or over belly, I just CANNOT get them to not constantly slip down. I'd so much rather wear an old pair of low cut ones that still button under my belly; at least they stay put. Perhaps my body is just super weird…
