Raiding My Sister’s Closet: One Outfit, Accessorized Three Ways

Operation: Stop Choosing Neutral Clothing continues. This red dress, for one.

It just looks happy hanging in my closet (or maybe it’s just that I’m so happy to have a closet that isn’t the size of a pack-n-play. Can’t be sure).

But if there’s one thing I’ve learned from my two rockstar sisters, it’s that you can wear something more than one way (this may truly have blown my mind).

This edition, we’re playing around with one outfit styled three different ways. Or it could be named, “How I smiled for the camera even though Ella was losing her mind over the fact that she put her Minnie Mouse shirt on backward and couldn’t figure out how to get it on the right way.”

Just, you know, so you have a full mental image of what it was like over here in North Carolina.

So, three ways.

This first one, I wore a button-down shirt from Shade over the top. You may have noticed that some half of my closet is from Shade, and let me tell you, no less than seven separate people contacted me to tell me to tell me Shade was going out of business because I’m such a wild fan. And now I’m just a sad fan.

Dress: c/o Oasap // Shirt: Shade (RIP)
Sandals: American Eagle // Earrings: Forever 21
This outfit? My favorite of the three. Mainly because it’s finally something that my denim jacket looks good with. I’ve been holding onto this jacket for about 7 years now, and I’m finally figuring out how to wear it. Underachiever.
Also, a hat is always a good idea (“Paris is always a good idea, you said. You couldn’t have meant without you.” Fifty bonus points redeemable for nothing if you can tell me what movie that’s from).

Dress: c/o Oasap // Jacket: Old Navy
Bracelets: Old Navy // Hat: Old Navy // Shoes: Kohl’s

And, finally, this scarf that Merrick gave me for my birthday last year which, I’m convinced, matches with EVERYTHING. Seriously. I have yet to find something it doesn’t go with.

Dress: c/o Oasap // Scarf: Charlotte Russe (gift from Merrick)
Bracelet: c/o Very Jane // Shoes: Payless
