The Best Sellers From 2024
I live for a “best of” list AND I love data, so a post where I get to look at alllllllll the numbers for Everyday Reading and then make a “best of” list?
Well, this is just a banner day for me!
I did this post of the best sellers of the year for the first time two years ago (you can see the bestsellers of 2022 here and 2023 here) and I loved seeing the 2024 winners.
Let me know if you tried any of these this year!
The Best Sellers from 2024
Colored Pencils $9.44
I absolutely love these colored pencils and frankly you all do too! They are super affordable and they’re an excellent soft core pencil, perfect for coloring and drawing. I keep a stash of these in my gift closet and pair them with these drawing books!
Clay Bead Kit $7.64
This bracelet kit has been super popular several months throughout the year! It is a perfect gift (I have about 7 of them in my gift closet right now!), great for long days at home, family reunions, summer camps, or sleepovers! And the price is basically unbeatable.
Glocusent Book Light $20.98
If you follow me on Instagram, it has been my mission to help as many people get my favorite book light on a sale price! This book light clearly superior to every other book light. I tested them on my kids, my husband, and some friends and everyone agreed – way better than any book light that clips to your book. I LOVE that you all love it as much as I do.
Multi-Tool Pen $9.99
So many of you purchased this for the holiday – and I am certain you will have some prepared men in your life! I had no idea that a pen could be disguised as so many other things. This 9-in-1 pen is also an LED light, a level, a bottle opener, a ruler, a stylus, a flathead screwdriver, a phillips head screwdriver…and of course a pen.
Dreamegg White Noise Machine $11.99
Before we left to Croatia, I quickly ordered these tiny little white noise machines. They made such a big difference when dealing with jetlag. We took melatonin and turned on the mini sound machines and we were all asleep within moments.
Paper Airplane Kit $5.99
You all went crazy over this paper airplane kit from the 2024 $5 Gift Guide! I even bought some for my girls for Christmas! I know teens may act like they are too old for toys and “kid things”, but I don’t think they could resist building paper airplanes over and over again till they make the perfect one. I think I know of some grown men who would love this gift.
LCD Writing Tablets $4.99 for 2
This one was a best seller from 2023 and I am not surprised it is back again for 2024! I keep them in my church bag and I love that there is endless amounts of things you can do with them (tic tac toe, guess what I’m drawing, etc.) and absolutely no waste!
Kindle Remote Page Turner $15.99
I did NOT expect this to be such a popular item! I bought one for me and one for my daughter for her 14th birthday and people went wild for them! (You can see it in action in this video!).
Super Slider Puzzle $29.30
We bought this for our then 6-year-old at Christmas and it has been SUCH a hit with the whole family. It is perfect screen-free toy for on the go, especially road and airplane trips! Since I first shared it back in November, I’ve heard from so many families that their teens and adult family members loved it just as much as the kids!
Custom Name Water Bottle Stickers $4.95
Not surprised to see this one as a best seller! I think water bottles will always be trending with the kids, and they really do love customizing and accessorizing them. These water bottle name stickers can be completely customized to any name (plus, it’s like an undercover label, so if your child ever loses their water bottle, it’s easily identifiable.)
Playvibe Puzzle Board $59.99
This was one of my Prime Day purchases and I was absolutely giddy when it showed up! I ordered the 1500 piece because it fits some of my largest puzzles and I can store it easily under my couch. It seems like I am in good company because you all love this puzzle board too!
NeeDoh Stress Ball $3.44
Squishies are all the rage right now! And these bright, bold, squeezable balls are just plain fun to squeeze and can double as stress relief. Plus, under $5 – you can’t beat it!
Moshu Textured White Blouse $12.99
I shared this shirt in the summer and it’s gone absolutely bananas. I’ve worn mine constantly – it goes with everything but feels a little nicer than a normal shirt, comes in a bunch of colors and it is on mega sale right now. It runs small – I’m always a true XS and the S fits me great.
Walmart Women’s Sneakers $19.98
I shared these sneakers my mom brought me from Walmart this summer and my DMs went crazy with people sharing how much they loved them and how they get compliments on them everywhere they go! They meet all 3 of my sneaker criteria: cute, comfy (zero break-in time for me!), and affordable (they’re under $20!). *Because you all loved them so much – many colors are out of stock.
Bento Box Snack Bin $10
This snack box sold out when I wanted to buy it (clearly you all love it too), and when it came back in stock I snatched it up SO FAST ! We use this constantly, whether it’s to make it easy to grab veggies from the fridge for an afternoon bite or take a bunch of fruit and veggie options on a road or boat trip (we just used it on the boat with friends last night and all the adults were raving about it!).
Hero Cosmetics Sunscreen $9.99 *check price – may go up by the time this goes live
This is the product that made me a raving Hero Cosmetics fan. Since I tried a tiny sample bottle, I’ve NEVER been without it. Prior to this, I was using the cult classic Unseen Sunscreen by Supergoop! and really liked it, but once I tried the Hero Cosmetics sunscreen, I’ve never gone back. I currently am loving the tinted version!
Undated Rainbow Wall Calendar $4.94
You all went crazy over these super fun rainbow wall calendars! I don’t blame you because they are also under $5! I love that they are undated so you can start using them whenever and the pop of color adds so much brightness to any wall.
Eby Bra $57
I started ordering different brands of bras when I became frustrated about how bad all my bras were, and when I tried the EBY support bralette, I donated all my Nordstrom bras without a second thought. Now I rotate between the support bralette (lighter and no clasp) and the Relief Bra which is a little more structured and has a traditional clasp. My code is EVERYDAYREADING20 which will take 20% off.
Hero Cosmetics Cleanser $6.74 *check price – may go up by the time this goes live
I actually don’t use this myself (I use the Dime Beauty THE WORKS skin care), but when my oldest daughter was 11, she was starting to get a lot of little breakouts. I bought her the milky cleanser and within a week, her skin had cleared right back up. Now, almost two years later, her skin has stayed beautifully clear and she LOVES this cleanser. If you’re looking for a budget cleanser, this one is HARD to beat. (Hero Cosmetics also makes a jelly cleanser but we haven’t tried that one yet).
Wikki Stix $5.25
This is another popular item from the 2024 $5 Gift Guide. Waiting and sitting still for anyone is hard, but especially a kid. You won’t regret having these Wikki Stix ready to play with at church, at the Dr. office or any other quiet moment. Get their hands busy creating all sorts of shapes and figures.
Basically, you are my gift guide ninja. I got the reading light, the super slider games (THEY ARE SOOO FUN!), kindle remotes, colored pencils, and needoh squishies (of a few varieties)! My mother in law asked me just yesterday how I find all the great things. I told her I just have to order stuff, but I did mention that I read ONE amazing blog and then I order it all. Thanks for being so helpful!
All of my 9 and under grandkids received the LCD Tablet as part of their Christmas gifts this year! They loved them! So inexpensive, yet so satisfying. Today, I’m ordering the clay beads, lol.
The bra, the puzzle board and the colored pencils. I already owned the necklight!!
