Beginning of May Book Deals
Happy May!
Today we’re celebrating my husband’s birthday (which means pickleball and an outdoor movie!) and I’m wrapping up final details for the Summer Reading Guide which comes out next Monday (May 13th – all the details about it here!).
Here are some of my favorite book deals going on right now (don’t miss that the May book club book is on sale for under $5 for the audio!).
Beginning of May Book Deals
Die With Zero by Bill Perkins – audiobook
We just started reading this one for Everyday Reading Book Club, so if you haven’t snagged it yet, this is a great deal! And if you would like to join in with us, it’s not too late! This is a money book like no other. It’s been such a fascinating and useful way to think about how I spend my life and what I want out of the money I make. It feels like one of those books that almost everyone would get something out of!
Hamlet is Not OK by R.A. Spratt – audiobook
My family loves R.A Spratt’s middle grade series Nanny Piggins, but I have yet to read this YA novel of hers. The last thing Selby wants to do is homework and especially reading the boring play, Hamlet. But when she is transported into the play itself…she finds out how relatable Mr. Hamlet truly is. I think my two older girls will LOVE this.
Garden Spells by Sarah Addison Allen – audiobook
I have had people recommending her books to me for YEARS but I haven’t yet gotten around to them. Time to fix that! The Waverley family has magical powers, thanks to their mysterious garden.
Emily of New Moon by L. M. Montgomery – audiobook
L.M. Montgomery said Emily was her favorite heroine too.
I’m a new follower and I LOVE your book reviews!!! I’m eagerly waiting for the 2024 book list. I was having a hard time getting back into reading, but just this weekend I blew through 2 books. At this rate I’ll go through all your book recommendations in no time. I also have two library cards and working on getting a third. Thank you for the inspiration!!
This is so kind of you – thank you for taking the time to let me know!
I was wondering if there is a way to know when you make a new post, as I clicked on one of the book deals “Starfish” and it says its $8.99 not $1.99. Did I miss it?
Thanks for your help. I just started following you and receiving your emails and I can’t get enough of your blog. Great job Janssen!
These deal posts go up every Saturday and Amazon changes their prices without warning, so there’s never any telling if the price is still good, unfortunately.
No worries, thank you!
