A Weekend of September Book Deals

Why is it that a four day week can feel more exhausting than a normal one? I feel like I’ve been slightly off-kilter all week!

I just picked up a huge stack of books at the library this weekend, so I have plenty of reading material, but couldn’t resist a few of these book deals that are going on right now!

A Weekend of September Book Deals

The Clockmaker’s Daughter by Kate Morton
I’ve read and loved both The Secret Keeper and The Lake House, and I’ve been meaning to read this one of hers since it came out a few years ago. Her books tend to be perfect not-too-spooky mysteries for fall, so the timing couldn’t be better!

One True Loves by Taylor Jenkins Reid
Imagine if the love of your life died in a plane crash and then, when you’d finally moved on, it turned out he wasn’t dead at all. I stayed up WAYYYYY too late reading this one. You can also add on the audiobook for less than $5 if you prefer to listen. (Full review here).

Willa The Wisp by Jonathan AuxierWilla The Wisp by Jonathan Auxier
If your beginning reader loves adventure, this book series is perfect. Auggie is the only one in charge of the one-of-a-kind Fabled Stables. In this installment Auggie is trying to help Willa the Wisp escape the torment of the Rook hunters on the island. I snatched this one up after Sarah Mackenzie recommended it to me on our IG Live together! Since this is a Libro.fm deal, you can use it to make a Yoto card too

Women in Science by Rachel IgnotofskyWomen in Science: 50 Fearless Pioneers Who Changed the World by Rachel Ignotofsky

This is an incredible collection of mini biographies about women in science and perfect for listening to a few together each night or in the car! This is another one that can be made into a Yoto card if you’d like!

Book cover for The Queen's Gambit by Walter Tevis with featured deal bannerThe Queen’s Gambit by Walter Tevis
This book popped up everywhere a few years ago, thanks to the Netflix show about an orphan girl who discovers that she is incredibly good at chess. You can watch the show and then read the book or in the reverse order. Either way, you’ll probably need to buy a chess set. This deal is a Chirp audiobook deal – if you’ve never used Chirp before, here’s a whole post about how it works. Plus if it’s your first Chirp purchase, you can use the code EVERYDAYREADING30 for an extra 30% off.
