A Gift for the Best Kindergarten Teacher

Is there anything a parent of a kindergartener hopes for more than a great teacher?
All summer, as we prepared for Ella to start school in the fall, I prayed that she’d get a great kindergarten teacher.
On Meet the Teacher night, I knew immediately that we’d hit the jackpot. Seriously, I cannot say enough good things about her kindergarten teacher.
She is so fantastic, and every other parent I’ve talked to is thrilled with her too (both current students and those who have had her in the past). Ella is absolutely in love with her, and Ani talks all the time about when she is going to be in her class someday.
At least once a week, Ella asks, “How many more weeks do I have left in kindergarten?” She’s so anxious about how quickly the year is flying by.
Since we’ve never done much of an official preschool, this is my first year doing teacher gifts. Last week, I was at Walmart last week, I picked up the new 9 piece GODIVA gift boxes.
And then, to make it more personal, Ella listed 9 things she loves about her teacher to go with each of the nine chocolates. (We could have done 100, but I couldn’t find a 100 piece chocolate box). It was fun to hear Ella talk about the things that have made kindergarten so fun for her the last four months.
I loved it because it was affordable, it didn’t require any wrapping (thanks, GODIVA, for making the packaging so pretty!), and it was super quick and easy, since I just picked it up at Walmart while I was running regular errands.
Now the problem is making Ella wait a full three weeks to give it to her beloved teacher.
Visit Walmart this holiday season for GODIVA Chocolate Gift Boxes. Available in three 9PC varieties and also a 15PC Dark All-of-a-Kind. (while supplies last)
This is such a great idea! I've been thinking about a gift we could give to our physical therapist this year, and this seems like a great idea!
What a great gift for a teacher. I think preschool teachers would also love a gift like that. I'm going to keep that in mind for as soon as I have kids ready to go to school. http://kidtimechristianacademy.com
