A Few of My Favorite Things for Spring
Mondays might be my favorite day of the week. I love jumping into a new week, full of energy and refreshed from the weekend.
Is that just me?
I mean, I love Fridays too. . . .
Anyway, my favorite day of the week seems like a good time to share a few of my favorite things right now.

Makeup Setting Spray. I went to a favorite things party a few months ago for my friend Kim’s birthday and came home with this makeup setting spray. And, you guys, it’s as good as everyone says it is. I went to the beach, swimming, on long airplane flights and conferences with it and my makeup truly doesn’t move. I don’t know what dark magic is in that bottle, but it works. It’ll be a lifesaver this summer when the weather heats up.
Little Girl Jelly Shoes. When I found out that Tally was a girl, my sister Landen bought her the cutest little dress and a pair of these jelly shoes. She didn’t fit into the shoes until last summer and then she wore them every day for a solid eight months. Over the weekend, I packed them up with her other clothing she’s grown out of and they still look basically brand-new. They were cute with shorts and a tee or dressy enough to pair with a little dress. I bought her a new pair a few weeks ago, plus a pair for Star too and it just makes me so happy to see them running around in them. It’s starting to feel like SUMMER!
Packing Cubes. My parents gave me these for my birthday and for whatever reason, it took me until our trip to Hawaii to finally use them. And then I suddenly understood why everyone is so obsessed with them. Everything fit so neatly in my suitcase and my shoes weren’t sitting on top of my clean clothing and I can’t explain why, but it felt like I had so much more room in my suitcase. I’m completely sold. I have this 3-piece set in Raspberry and this set of 3 slim cubes (you can get all six together in this set for a cheaper price). I need to add these to my list of really great gifts for men immediately.
This Swimsuit. I bought this black swimsuit two years ago and it still looks brand-new. It’s always the swimsuit I reach for first and I basically could not love it more. They have it in a bunch of colors this year, including this really cute striped version, and right now they’re all 50% off. I’ve owned swimsuits all across the price spectrum and this is by far my favorite suit for the best price. It cannot be beat.
