Week 38
Bart calls this the “purple grape” dress. More like a purple watermelon.
I had an ultrasound on Thursday and they estimated the baby to be about 6 lbs 6 oz (although, that number can be up to 20% different in either direction), so she’s growing right on track. Also, they verified that it is indeed a girl (out of four ultrasounds, this is only the second time they were able to tell).
I got the car-seat yesterday, I’ve washed the clothes we plan to bring her home in, my bag is packed, and we finally took our hospital tour this week, and the house is clean. I’m starting to feel pretty ready.
GAH! I am so excited!!!!! I wish I was going to be there! This is all so very fun and thrilling!
So excited for you! She could be here any day!!!
Great picture! Hey, are you planning on doing a post on the pregnancy/childbirth/parenting books you have read so far? I would love to read it.
Look at you! Have you chosen a name? Or have a top contender anyway? Despite having 2 children, I've never actually been 38 weeks pregnant. I've never really made it to the "ok, any day now…" wait. It sounds like all you need now is a baby.
I hope I can look as cute as you when I'm pregnant. You made it all the way and still look great!
You look so happy and ready to go. My two arrived early so I didn't get to experience the waiting game. This gives you time to be really prepared. I'll be sending your peaceful baby prayers the next few days.
Now you just want that little melon to drop… I can feel the excitement in the air!!!
You look so beautiful, and so happy!! Can't wait to hear about your baby girl.
I have a tank top just like that! So cute! And so glad you're feeling ready!
but so sweet and smart of him to say grape instead of watermelon.
Awwww, now you look big enough. 😉
I'm so excited for you! You look so cute pregnant!
I can't WAIT to see her! And you're looking pretty adorable, lady. 🙂
You are so beautiful…to meeee!
Exciting and nerve-wracking and happy! I hope your birthing experience is everything you're hoping it to be :).
I'm also interested in the list/reviews of the pregnancy/birthing/newborn books you've read. Don't say you haven't read any, because I just wouldn't believe.
