Sometimes
. . . on a quiet weekday afternoon while your baby sleeps, you take a picture like this:
Top: Forever 21, Jeans: Target
Shoes: Fossil
And you think to yourself, “What this outfit could really use is a hat.”
Thankfully, I have a lovely friend named Ralphie around to provide me with one.

By the way, I’m part of an affiliate program through BlogHer for a website called appSmitten. I only get credit if you sign up for the newsletter, but even if you have no interest in the newsletter, it’s a ridiculously nice site if you have a smart phone (iPhone or Android) or an iPad. They have great lists of apps for all sorts of topics (kids, food, money-saving, travel, etc) that are definitely worth checking out. Plus, most of the apps they feature are free.
I love it because I don’t have to search through the App Store which I find to be the most time-intensive and irritating way to find an app. I can’t be alone on that, can I?
now THAT is a hat! (love)
I love the hat (and some fun mama time while baby sleeps!). I also love the jeans. Wanna share wear you picked those up?
When I first saw the little snippet of this in Reader I thought it was a profile picture and you were announcing a pregnancy. I do not know why I thought that because when I actually read the post you were (a) not really turned especially sideways and (b) not looking pregnant.
Hahaha, Sherry, I thought the same thing. Janssen, ? Cute outfit. Apps? Smart phone? HA. lol
Dude. That hat. So awesome.
Also, I signed up for the newsletter. Just for you 🙂
You OWN that hat my friend.
Having Gwen in elementary school has made me realize how bare our "outrageous hat" collection is. She had a special hat day for school, all I could find was her winter beanie, which I tried to pull off as a fun hat, but she was very cognizant to the fact that she has gotten to wear that hat every single day for the last four months. Yep, we need an awesome hat. And socks.
And now you have found my weakness! HATS!!! I especially like the middle picture. I wish there were more opportunities to wear hats. I think I would like to live in England because they seem more fashionable there.
Also I signed up for the apps newsletter. I have a website about iPads in Elementary education, so will also add that site to it. https://sites.google.com/a/teacher.plymouth.k12.ma.us/elementary-ipads/websites
