Leather and Plaid
You know how sometimes you just find an outfit combination that you really really like?
This is one of those.
I have worn this every Friday for the last three weeks in a row.
It’s the perfect mix of completely comfortable (these leather leggings are basically pajamas) and put together enough to leave the house for a bunch of errands on Friday afternoon.
It just feels like the right way to end the week to me.
Also, despite being a fall/winter material, these leather leggings are much lighter than any of my jeans, so it’s a win when you want to be feeling like fall, but Phoenix still cranking out 105 degree days like they’re going out of style.
And these classic plaid shirts are ridiculously amazing. I’m really picky about button-down shirts (although you wouldn’t believe that if you saw my rather large collection), but these have the perfect cut and drape. They are slim through the shoulders and body, long enough but not too long, and the perfect weight for rolling up the sleeves and not having to wear anything under it.
I’ve been wearing this one all spring and summer, and I have my eye on this red version for the winter.
And these subtle-y patterned Vans with the cognac leather detail on the heel are the perfect finishing touch to this outfit. I always struggle with sneakers, but these ones are the easiest ones to pair with any outfit that I’ve ever owned.
Anyway, if you see me this Friday in real life, pretend not to notice that I’m wearing this for the fourth week in a row. Many thanks in advance.
So cute!! Might have to try those leggings!!
I love this. There is nothing better than finding a cute and comfortable outfit to wear over and over again, which is such a rare occurrence for me.
Love this combo! And love that the shirt is Old Navy!
