My Winter Version of a Basic Tee

This post is sponsored by Walmart

This summer, I wore this $12 tee at least 2-3 times a week.

I loved that it was super affordable, looked great with pants or a skirt or layered with a sweater, didn’t lose its shape, and washed up beautifully.

Now, with the weather cooling down (it was 40 degrees this morning when I took my girls to school!), t-shirt weather is mostly behind us and it’s time for a new go-to basic.

This $22 sweater is IT!

It’s the same brand as my tee (the Free Assembly line from Walmart – if you haven’t checked out this brand before, I HIGHLY recommend you do. I also ) and I LOVE it.

It comes in this fun hot pink, black, cream, and mustard and it is the perfect winter basic.

I love that it’s a sweater so it instantly feels a little more elevated than a tee, even though it’s just as comfy,  it pairs easily with jeans or joggers or a skirt, and it’s thin enough to layer under a jacket or coat.

I washed it last week and it came out of the dryer looking perfect (no need to dry it flat or hand wash it, which is good because I don’t have time for that!).

Most importantly, it’s super soft (I actually just ordered a similar sweater from a different brand that was more than 4x as expensive and it wasn’t NEARLY as soft – in fact, it was kind of itchy!).

My two biggest goals when I get dressed are for it to be easy and for my outfits to feel like ME and this sweater nails both of these goals.

I bought it in hot pink (so fun, especially when winter feels gray and dreary, plus perfect in February for Valentine’s Day!) and the cream color and you’ll see me wearing them ALLLLLL winter long. I’m tempted to get the black one too because they’re just so good!

I love it when I find a great wardrobe staple at a great price and Walmart seriously came through on this one! If you’re looking for something you’ll reach for all fall and winter long (and into the spring!) at a price that won’t give you heartburn, this sweater is a phenomenal choice.
