10+ Winter Puzzles for Cozy Nights
One of my goals this year is to do some puzzling every day in January and it has been so fun so far.
I love having a puzzle going and this goal gives me permission to make time every day to sit down and work on it for a little bit every evening. Add a good audiobook and I’m in absolute heaven.
If you love a seasonal puzzle, here are some terrific winter puzzles to make those dark cold winter nights a little more cozy!
P.S. If you don’t have dedicated space for a puzzle, I absolutely love my puzzle board (plus the titling design is so much easier on my neck and back!)

12 Winter Puzzles to Enjoy During the Cold Months

WINTER SNOW GLOBE – 500 Piece Puzzle
I love the rich colors of this puzzle, plus it doesn’t scream Christmas like some other winter snow globe puzzles. You could do this one all winter long.

SNOWFALL – 1000 Piece Puzzle
How could you resist all these delightful winter animals? This puzzle feels wonderfully magical and wintry, and the muted colors somehow make it feel both chilly and peaceful at the same time.

SNOWY SLOPES – 500 Piece Puzzle
This puzzle brings together two things I love – Pippi Post and skiing! I may be newer to skiing, but I’m definitely not new to puzzles, and this one is so much fun.

COUNTRY DIARY WINTER – 1000 Piece Puzzle
I love all the little details in this puzzle – from the plants to the birds and animals that stick around through winter. The vintage botanical vibe makes it even more charming.

ALL IS BRIGHT – 1000 Piece Puzzle
Everything about this one is just so peaceful. And if the lit up house, the woodland animals, and the northern lights weren’t enough? It glows in the dark!

THE NEW YORKER SKI SHOP – 750 Piece Puzzle
If you’re familiar with the magazine, you’ll recognize that their puzzles are based on the magazine covers themselves. This one is especially colorful and fun – I just did it this week and I was worried it’d be too hard, but it was a perfect mix of fun and challenging.

SNOWY NIGHT – 500 Piece Puzzle
I can never say no to a Galison puzzle. A snowy night in the park, glowing city lights, and a quiet walk through the falling snow – it truly feels immersive. And the colors are absolutely gorgeous.

COZY RETREAT – 1000 Piece Puzzle
Take me here immediately! I’d happily spend every day like this – book in hand, a cozy cup of cocoa, tucked away in the mountains with a fire crackling in the stove. For now, I’ll have to settle for the puzzle.

WINTER PERCH – 500 Piece Puzzle
This puzzle would be a great transition from Christmas to after-Christmas winter. But it could truly be used for both! With snow-dusted birdhouses, cheerful birds, and pops of poinsettias and mistletoe, it’s such a beautiful, wintry scene.

SLOPESIDE SPIRIT – 1000 Piece Puzzle
Ravensburger is another puzzle brand I love because their puzzles are such great quality. And who wouldn’t want to dive into this fun ski scene? I can see my girls jumping in to help with this one, with all the bright colors and little details to discover.

KALEIDO-SNOW – 1000 Piece Puzzle
Nothing screams winter more than snowflakes, and these snowflakes are all kinds of fun! Spaghetti Tree designed the 2026 Reading Log and they make TERRIFIC puzzles! Use my code EVERYDAYREADING15 for a discount.
