Winter Challenge: Decade or Region

The bangs, they need a trim. Expect me to get on that in approximately three months. I am very bad at getting these kinds of things taken care of.

I realized when I was getting dressed for this challenge that I have quite a lot of clothing from around the world, because my lovely mother keeps traveling and then instead of bringing home huge, hideous t-shirts that I would never wear, but probably use to clean my toilet, she brings home awesome items of clothing that I very much enjoy wearing.

This scarf was from a service trip she took with my dad and younger brother to Honduras a couple of years ago.

Dressed and done.

Shirt: Old Navy, Scarf: Honduras, Skirt: Downeast Basics
Tights: Kohl’s, Shoes: Payless

  1. Very cute. Please tell me that's what you wore yesterday, because if you look that cute on a Monday, that would make me feel pretty baaaad.

  2. Hi Janssen, I enjoy peeking at your lovely blog sometimes. Just read your "about" section and found a couple of connections. My sister is getting her Masters in library science in Boston, and my family and I are preparing to move to San Antonio. I hear there is a lot of fun going on in Austin, so I'm sure we'll spend some time there!

  3. I am so impressed you are doing this challenge. I want to do it too, I just may do it like 3 weeks late, lol. But how FUN!!! Way to go, you're awesome. Miss you 🙂
