My Birthday Wishlist for 41
Last year was a big milestone birthday, but this year, I’ve been so busy with school starting, a bunch of work trips, and normal life that I have hardly thought about my birthday at all!
But when Bart asked on a morning walk a few days ago what I’d like for my birthday . . . well, I was able to come up with a few ideas!
Plaid Jacket
I got a denim jacket similar to this one last year and absolutely loved it! This one is a little more fun with the pattern without being overwhelming and a perfect addition to the many solids and neutrals I wear!
New Pickleball Shoes
I got my current pickleball shoes 3 years ago and they are pretty worn down at this point (which makes me nervous on the court!). Definitely time for a replacement pair since I’m playing so much pickleball right now. (How did you know I was in my 40s?)
Pen Set
These are my very favorite pens and I could use a new set – I use these every single day at my desk and also in my bedroom for writing in my Flecks of Gold journal each night
Sweater Weather Puzzle
I am in full puzzle mode right now and I always love a Pippi Post puzzle (my affiliate code is READ15). You should have seen my eyes when I first spotted this puzzle on their website. I had full-on star eyes, just like the emoji.
Leather Bag
I love my Thread bag for daily use, but sometimes I want something a little more polished and this one is a beautiful upgrade while still being a reasonable size! The hardest part is choosing a color!
Water Jug
Jen on my team has one of these and puts it out for every gathering (I’m lucky to be neighbors with her!). I have a nice glass one, but I’d love a sturdy one that I don’t have to worry about getting broken when we have a lot of kids around or we’re outside! Lots of fun colors too!
