Look at Me!
I have another post up at the ALA Read CD blog, if you care to check it out.
I don’t always link to them from here, but I particularly liked this one, if only because it gave me an excuse to talk about Twilight again.
(Confession: Bart and I are going to see it tomorrow. I am a pathetic little Twilight lover once again. Also, the person who finds my blog by searching “pathetic Twilight lover” will be hunted down and maimed).
Jessica and I were just talking about how we want to go and see it again. We’re trying to figure out how to get there without our kids and without our husbands rolling their eyes into the backs of their heads.
If I were close I would volunteer to watch all the kiddies while you young moms snuck off for as many viewings as you needed. Just ask Janssen about my fixation with While You Were Sleeping and you’ll know I’m serious about this. Moms need some Girl Time!
After seeing a trailer for Twilight last night, I told Lewis that I wanted to see it again. It was such a cheesy movie, but good all at the same time. Good blog article too, by they way. I wish I was great enough to write a series of novels and make millions too! And even if you don’t think that you’d be able to come up with a plot, etc. it would still be interesting enough with the way you write.
I’ll see it at least one more time before it leaves the theaters. AT LEAST.
Since I’m not sure if the other blog is strictly for YA books, I’m putting the books I wish I’d written here:
Twilight, obviously
New Moon, obviously, because it was my fave in the Twilight series
Eclipse, obviously
Breaking Dawn (I would have changed Reneesme’s name, OBVIOUSLY)
The Time Traveler’s Wife
The Lovely Bones
Lonesome Dove
After this weekend I’ll probably add Hunger Games to that list…. can’t wait to read it!
I’m going to see it with my mom and sisters tonight… 😉 you are not even pathetic!
