How I was converted to a Kindle page turner
For YEARS, I’ve had people reaching out asking if had a Kindle page turner that I recommended.
And every time I’d have to tell them that I’d never used one (and secretly think “what’s even the point?”)
Then, a few years ago, during an Amazon sale, someone I trust mentioned that they were on a lightning deal and I thought “well, why not? For research!”
And I bought one.

Then, after years of thinking a Kindle page turner was totally silly, I instantly fully understood the hype.
I completely get that it feels like “how hard can it be to tap the page to turn it?” (because I thought the same for years) but once you can set up your Kindle propped up against a pillow or your knees and keep your hands cozy inside a blanket or not having to hold your Kindle up, it’s wild how much more convenient and pleasant it is to read on your Kindle.
Some people also love these Kindle page turners that slip on to your finger for even easier remote page turning. I gotta try one!
There are also little pillow stands that will hold your Kindle up while you read so you don’t have to rearrange your pillows perfectly every time.
And if you really want to go all the way, people especially love a goose neck stand so their Kindle can be held hands-free above them and they can click their Kindle remote page turner from the comfort of their couch or bed with their arms all tucked in warm and cozy.
I haven’t yet gone that far but I’m tempted!
The Kindle page turner I have works fine with all of my Kindle cases (even my Stori case, which is quite a bit thicker, although I have to slip it between the front and back cover flaps when I fold it back – it won’t go around both the front and back covers at the same time).
If you have a very thick Kindle case, get this remote page turner instead that is designed for extra-thick cases.
And some people find that the remote page turner covers part of the text (I haven’t had this problem but hear from many who do), so here’s a quick tutorial on how to adjust the margins of your Kindle with a few clicks so that the text isn’t blocked!
I loved my remote page turner so much that I got one for my teen daughter for her birthday and then allllllll my kids wanted a Kindle page turner and they love them.
Have you tried a Kindle page turner? I’d love to hear what you think! Worth the hype or totally gimmicky?

I very nosily read the page on your Kindle and now I have to know the title of that book. What a funny scene!
It’s from Kate Watson’s newest book – The Setup Man
My kids got page turners and love them. I got mine and use it occasionally. I probably need to splurge and get a goose neck stand so I can be on my back and read without holding the kindle. I wear glasses and that complicates things. It’s hard to read on my side with glasses.
