Book Deals for the Weekend of January 24
I know lots of places around the US this weekend are getting slammed by snow and ice and super cold weather so it is a great weekend to stay indoors with a book!
(And a puzzle! One of my favorite puzzle brands is having a Buy 1 Get 1 50% off sale this weekend right here!)
Here are some of my favorite book deals this weekend:

Boundaries: When to Say Yes, How to Say No To Take Control of Your Life by Henry Cloud and John Townsend
This has been on my to-read list for ages! It’s considered a classic when it comes to learning how to set healthy boundaries in relationships and everyday life. With super practical advice on saying no without guilt and taking responsibility for yourself (not everyone else), it’s all about creating limits that actually lead to more peace and better connections.

My Next Breath by Jeremy Renner
After surviving a catastrophic snowplow accident, actor Jeremy Renner shares a raw, emotional look at his long road to recovery and the mental strength it took to keep going when the odds were stacked against him. If you love celebrity memoirs, this one sounds so gripping!

The Anne of Green Gables Collection by L. M. Montgomery
If there’s one deal in this post that’s truly the best bang for your buck, it’s this one – more than 72 hours of stories for under $2! If you’re an Anne lover (as I am!), this collection is absolutely charming. (Plus, this one is a Libro.FM deal so you can use it to make a Yoto card!)

The Unselected Journals of Emma M. Lion Vol. 1 by Beth Brower
If you’ve been around for awhile, you know I love this series! I had read the entire series twice before these came out on audio and I was so excited to try out the audio version – wait until you hear all the voices the narrator does! And if you struggled getting into the physical books, I’m telling you the audiobook really helps. This sale will end by the end of next week!

Confessions of a Shopaholic by Sophie Kinsella
If you know me, you know I have a serious soft spot in my heart for Sophie Kinsella. I find her books so hilarious and this series is no exception. In this light-hearted and hilariously entertaining series, a woman named Becky Bloomwood has a serious addiction to…you guessed it, shopping! (My personal favorites by her are I’ve Got Your Number and Can You Keep a Secret?)

The Secret Garden by Frances Hodgson Burnett
This classic has been a huge hit with several of my girls – it’s one they listen to on repeat. We have the Yoto card version, but with this sale, turning it into a Yoto card is a total no-brainer.

Burnout: The Secret to Unlocking the Stress Cycle by Emily Nagoski, PhD & Amelia Nagoski, DMA
This eye-opening, super relatable book explains why burnout hits women so hard, and why it’s not a personal failure, but a result of the pressure and expectations we’re constantly swimming in. Filled with science and practical strategies for managing stress, emotions, and rest, it feels both validating and genuinely helpful for anyone who’s tired of feeling constantly overwhelmed.

Mrs. Frisby and the Rats of NIMH by Robert C. O’Brien
If you’ve never read this Newbery winner about some very smart rats who help save a little mouse family, you’re missing out. The first chapter or two are bit slow, but after that we couldn’t read enough and we read long past bedtime many many nights.
