6 Book Deals for the Start of September
September is my favorite month of the year. It’s my birthday month, so I’m obviously biased toward it, but I also love the coming of fall without the rush of the holidays yet!
We’re soaking up the weekend with a birthday celebration for my father-in-law, brunch with friends, and family movie night.
I’m also absolutely loving this cute romance book (it’s included in Kindle Unlimited and right now, you can get 3 months for the price of one!)
Here are some other book deals going on right now!
True Colors by Kristin Hannah – ebook
I love Kristin Hannah’s historical fiction books but I’ve never read some of her older books back when she mostly wrote contemporary fiction. This one about three very close sisters whose world is turned upside down…and they turn on each other, sounds compelling.
Endurance: Shackleton’s Incredible Voyage by Alfred Lansing – audiobook
If you need some great non-fiction, this story is mind-boggling (and extra fun since the Endurance -the ship – was just recently found more than a hundred years after it sank). This is one of those stories where truth is stranger than fiction and it’s perfect for a couples read!
The Tipping Point: How Little Things Can Make a Big Difference by Malcolm Gladwell – audiobook
I always LOVE his books! They are so fascinating, engaging, and thought-provoking. Viral trends come from somewhere, and Gladwell explores the science and human behavior behind them.
Wrong Place Wrong Time by Gillian McAllister – audiobook
This thriller/mystery has been on tons of bestseller and book club lists. This is a time loop book where Jen witnesses her teenage son murder someone outside of their home. But when she wakes up the next morning, it is the day prior. She continues to go back in time days before the murder…will she be able to stop this murder before it happens?
Mouse Scouts by Sarah Dillard – audiobook
These little mice girls belong to the Mouse Scouts and work hard to earn different badges. This is such a charming chapter book series. (Plus, it’s a Libro.fm book, so you can make your own Yoto card with it!)
The Outlaw Noble Salt by Amy Harmon
I know I am not supposed to pick favorites, but I might admit that this book might have snagged my #1 spot in my 2024 Summer Reading Guide. This historical romance about Butch Cassidy, one of America’s most notorious train/bank robbers in the Old West, was everything I didn’t know I needed.
