4 Book Deals for a September Weekend
She Persisted by Chelsea Clinton, illustrated by Alexandra Boiger
I was delighted to see this board book version of the popular biography series on such a big sale!
The Girl in the Blue Coat by Monica Hesse
A WWII book, but this one a YA. It takes place in Amsterdam and it was phenomenal. It was just such an exhilarating read from the first page to the last. Quick, intense, and well-written, I need more books like this in my life (full review here).
The Opposite of Spoiled by Ron Lieber
This is really a terrific book about helping your kids to grow up smart about not only saving money but also using it and sharing it.
French Kids Eat Everything by Karen Le Billon
I loved this book and though it was in a similar vein to “Bringing Up Bebe,” I thought this was much more useful and applicable for people living in the US.
I just picked up The Girl in the Blue Coat from a Little Free Library! Looking forward to reading it.
