A Whole Lot of Ella

Have I mentioned before how much I love my child?

She is at the most adorable stage, where she’s saying lots of words and doing all sorts of funny things. She makes me laugh every day.

Now comes the part where I force you to look at many many pictures of her. You’re welcome. All taken on my phone, so the quality is ridiculously high (you’re doubly welcome).

I’ll start you off easy with a picture of her at Target where I handed her a felt Easter basket and when I heard her laughing, turned around to see she’d put it around her neck.

Ella loves to cook. Landen made her this apron.

Also, that oven mitt? She pulled it out on her own and put it on. I love that it goes up to her shoulder.

 Those little hands KILL me.

Ella is crazy about Buddy Bucks at HEB. As soon as we get to the register, she asks the cashier for them and when we get to the machine, her hands are shaking so much she can hardly feed the bucks in.

This picture makes my mom’s heart sing – she’s been holding out hope for a curly haired grandchild ever since it was evident that all her five children had hair so straight you could use it as a ruler.

Very brave to do the big slide alone.

And a rainy, cold day doesn’t stop her.

Ralphie gave her this bowl of ice cream when we were over for dinner a few weeks ago. Ella didn’t want ANY to go to waste.

Sometimes she just looks goofy. Here’s the aftermath of a marathon nap – sweaty hair and lines all over her face.
And we’ll finish this off with a few of my favorite Instagram pictures of her. Bubbles at the library, pink mittens and pigtails. How could I not love this little girl?

  7. She had me at hello. We need to get her and Eli together and then the cuteness would over power the Earth's gravitational pull and finally every thing would officially revolve around them.

  10. Oh my! She's just adorable beyond words. The spontaneous laughing like at Target! Big slides! (LE just went down the big one on her own this week. It wasn't really intentional on my part, but she was in a hurry and I couldn't get myself in place fast enough.) I wish I had more patience in the kitchen, I usually just want to do it myself.

  11. She is so beautiful I can hardly stand it! I understand the curly hair thing, I don't know why, but I just hope so badly to have one (probably because I always wished my hair was curly)
