Travel Backpack
I upgraded from a “whatever backpack I had around” to a dedicated travel backpack last year and it is MAGICAL. This backpack has a waterproof laptop pocket, a charging cable, a sleeve so it can slip over your suitcase handle, and legitimately everything you could think of. Plus it looks so good and stays so clean (even in a light color!). I’m a huge fan and I’ve had both men and women stop me in the airport to ask me about it.

Belt Bag
This comes on ALL our trips and I love it so much – the one I have is sold out right now, but this one is similar. I love a leather (or vegan leather) one because it looks so much more elevated than a nylon one and it is perfect for keeping my travel necessities close by while keeping me hands-free (I have a post here about what I keep in my belt bag during the day!).

Travel Pillow
Bart’s parents gave us these as gifts last year and they’ve been the best travel pillows ever (our older girls love to borrow them too!). I love that your head isn’t bobbing around and also blocks out the light.

Mini Sound Machine
I’m a HUGE sound machine lover (we sleep with one every night) and I don’t love burning out my phone having it run all night long as a sound machine. This one is tiny, has a terrific battery and great sound options. It’s been one of my most popular items in the last year and I’ve gotten so many messages from people telling me how much they love them too!

Airplane Bluetooth Transmitter
I bought this last year for our trips because I HATE using airplane earbuds which hurt my ears like crazy. This lets me use my own beloved earbuds to watch a movie on the plane!

Kindle Reader
I ALWAYS take my Kindle when I travel and the basic Kindle is my go-to because it is smaller and lighter and fits in my belt bag. The battery lasts forever so I never have to charge it during my trip, plus I can listen to Audible audiobooks on it as long as I have bluetooth earbuds or headphones.

Portable Charger
Bart and I both have these so that our phones don’t die on the go! I have a bigger bar charger which I also love but this smaller one is great for taking around during the day because it fits right into my belt bag!
