4 Favorite Things for March (+ My Team’s Picks!)
I’ve never loved spring like I do now that we live in Utah!
When I lived in Las Vegas, Arizona, and Texas, spring meant that the baking hot weather was just around the corner, but now it means the best time of the year is just about here and I absolutely love it.
Here are some things I’m loving right now (+ my team’s picks!)

Spring Sweater
I bought this sweater on a whim a few weeks ago and I wore it nonstop before, during and after our trip to Australia (you can see it in the photo above). It goes with everything, dresses up and down, and doesn’t need a layer underneath. I’m a huge fan (it comes in a couple of colors – I picked white)!

Nike Killshot Sneakers
These have been my most worn shoes all winter long and they were really the MVPs for our Australia trip – I wore them virtually every single day of our trip even for miles and miles of walking. If you’re looking for a travel shoe straight out of the box, I think the Eccos are better (these took more breaking in), but now that they’re broken in, they were absolutely perfect for all that traveling and I think a little more fun than the Eccos.

Superman & Lois Show
Bart and I watch an episode of a show together most nights before we go to bed and for the last couple of months we’ve been working our way through Superman & Lois and just finished it last week. I haven’t enjoyed a show this much in AGES! The premise is that Superman & Lois are now in their forties, married, and raising two teenage sons, one of whom just started exhibiting powers. I loved the mix of the traditional Superman story – Superman out saving the world and Lois being a high-powered journalist – with the normal parts of life like marriage, raising kids, and trying to build community. I just LOVE a show that shows a solid marriage and I really loved that this show didn’t peter out – it had a really satisfying conclusion to the series.

Foldology Book
I ordered this for our Australia trip and it was the biggest hit – my four girls (ages 8-14) spent hours doing these on the plane, subway, and in the hotel room. They’re kind of like origami but you fold the paper to get all the solid colors on one side and the picture on the other. Perfect road trip activity and a great Easter basket gift!

Large Capacity Pencil Case
This isn’t something I personally use, but my 12 year old and her friends have been loving these! Before buying this organized pencil case my daughter had a catch all pencil case and she said it was hard to find anything. She loves the different compartments, the expandability allowing space for everything (including her gum and mini lotion) and it comes in so many cute colors. For under $10, this is a definite win for any teen or tween. And it would make a fabulous Easter basket stuffer if you still need ideas!

Dyeable Plastic Easter Eggs
Since our egg prices have been so high, the thought of dying Easter eggs sounded like a luxury. And when most years, we don’t even get around to eating all of our hard boiled eggs, I knew I didn’t want to chance wasting anything! I ordered these plastic Easter eggs and feel like I scored – I cannot wait to decorate them with my little ones. Not only are they dyeable, but it sounds like you can use stickers, decoupage, and paint. For under $2 for a dozen eggs AND included dye kit…it was a no brainer!

Bondi Sands Self Tanner and mitt. I’ve been using Bondi Sands Self Tanning Foam for the last month or so because it gives me a natural, streak-free tan. The lightweight foam is easy to apply, blends smoothly, and develops into a beautiful, even color. Using the mitt that is included really helps for a streak-free application and no orange palms. Plus, it smells way better than most self-tanners and doesn’t leave my skin feeling dry.

NYX Epic Ink Eyeliner
This is my favorite eyeliner right now! It goes on so evenly and smoothly and I love the dark brown shade for a slightly softer look. I also love that it’s less than $10!
