4 Favorite Things for August (+ My Team’s Picks!)
August went by in an absolute flash. One minute we were still in summer and now we’re in the thick of school (I did a post a few weeks ago about the homeschool curriculum we’re using this year).
I’m trying to maintain some of the relaxed attitude and schedule I worked hard for this summer, but it is definitely taking some adjustment!
Here are some of things I’m loving right now (and don’t miss my team’s picks at the bottom of this post!):

Zipper Pencil Box
I am full on obsessed with these – I snagged them in the summer when I was on a Target run with my husband and now I can’t stop talking about them. They’re so convenient for holding sunscreen, snacks, card games, and, of course, school supplies. And under $4? Don’t mind if I get ten!

Colorful Beaded Necklace
I ordered this earlier this summer and have worn it nearly every day since then! It goes with everything and adds a little bit of color and whimsy to my normally pretty neutral outfits. Plus it’s the perfect length for stacking and I love the initial charm on it. Worth every penny!

Laptop Organizer
Our laptop situation has been THE bane of my existence for the past year. The cords were always coming out, they never got put away, and I was convinced I would LOSE my mind if one more of them got left on my couch. This year, I knew we needed a new solution so I ordered a couple of options and this one was BY far the best – sleek and low-profile but easy to use. I’m happy about it every day!

EBY bras
I’ve talked about these bras a million times (I wear the Relief Bra pretty much every day), but this summer I got some of the support bralettes for two oldest girls and they both haven’t stopped raving about how good they are. My affiliate code is EVERYDAYREADINGFS15. Seriously, such good bras.

Dress Up/Dress Down Dress
This summer I realized I have been wearing some of the same dresses for 10+ years! On one hand, I’m a little proud of myself, and on the other, I realized I needed something new. I bought this one on a whim and love it more than I thought possible. My favorite thing is how not fussy it is. No adjusting, no wearing something under and no discomfort. It’s SO soft and I can easily throw on a jean jacket and sandals for a casual look or some jewelry and heels for something more dressy. Plus it’s under $35.

PB & J Subscription Club
My in-laws gifted us a peanut butter and jelly subscription box this year, and I’m honestly surprised by how excited I get every time it shows up on our doorstep. Each month, we receive one jar of peanut butter and one jar of jelly – and it’s probably the only subscription we use up completely while counting down to the next delivery. Even better, each jar comes from small farms or specialty companies, which makes it feel extra special.

Walmart Lounge Set I saw this lounge set posted online and was intrigued. It lived up to the hype. The fabric feels so similar to Lululemon softstreme but it’s a fraction of the price. With the top and bottom together the set is $40. It is so cozy but has a polished look and will be the perfect travel outfit for some trips I have coming up this fall. The pants are linked here.

Lounge Set
I stumbled upon this lounge set from Walmart and added it to my cart a bit impulsively… and I’ve been wearing it as much as possible ever since. It’s oversized in a really comfy way, the knit fabric is buttery soft and breathable, and it drapes nicely without being clingy or shapeless. It’s got tons of great reviews, plus it’s under $20.
