The $5 Gift Guide – Amazon Sneak Peek

Last year we did a sneak peek of the $5 gift guide for Amazon Prime Day and it was such a hit that we’re doing it again this year!

Here are the favorite picks for $5(ish – it’s my list and I make the rules!) from Amazon

From stocking stuffers to friend gifts, I hope you’ll find something just right!

affordable christmas gift list under $5

AFFORDABLE CHRISTMAS GIFTS FOR EVERYONE ON YOUR LIST

Window Breaker and Seatbelt Cutter – $8.88
This isn’t one of those gifts that someone is going to be jumping for joy over, but is it something everyone should have in their car just in case? Absolutely!

Transparent Earrings for Sports – $4.99
Perfect for kids who play sports but don’t want their earring holes to close up! These clear earrings are barely noticeable and a handy alternative to regular earrings for practices and games (just check your league’s rules first).

Car Cleaning Gel – $7.99
This was an Amazon Prime item I bought a few years ago and I have loved it ever since. This cleaning putty gets into all the nooks and crannies to pick up microscopic hairs and crumbs that you can never seem to get. Perfect stocking stuffer!

Universal Socket Tool – $6.79
I love a gift that someone might not buy for themselves but will actually USE. It reminds me a lot of this wrist magnetic tool holder that went crazy on a past $5 gift guide! This universal socket adjusts to different sizes and is great to have around for quick fixes.

Magnetic Fidget Toy – $7.99
Fidgets are still all the rage, and this magnetic one is surprisingly addicting (even adults love playing with it!). It’s a great stocking stuffer for teens or a fun little desk toy for someone who spends a lot of time on calls.

3-in-1 Water Bottle Brush – $4.99
If you’ve been around for awhile, you know that Owalas are my favorite water bottles around…and they do need a little TLC every now and then in the nooks and crannies. This little device does the trick!

Magnetic Remote Control Wall Holder – (4 piece for $9.17)
I don’t know about you, but I get really frustrated when I set down to watch something and the remote is no where to be found. These easy magnetic remote control wall holders give the remote a place to live and that kind of stuff makes me incredibly happy.

Odor Eliminator – 2 pack for $10.78
Analese puts these in her kids lockers and shoe bins at home and they help tremendously with the smell from cleats and socks.

Lymphatic Contour Face Brush – $6.79
If you have someone in your life really into skin care, this lymphatic contour face brush is a home run gift. Similar to a gua sha, but softer and know to help lift and de-puff.

Wall Mount Holder for Google Mini (Cord Hider) – $8.99
Equivalent for an Echo Pop or Echo Dot
I love a clean finish on anything in our home, and hiding away cords gives me a tremendous amount of satisfaction. This little wall mount gets your Echo or Google Home off the counter AND hides that dangling cord – such a simple upgrade for less than $10!

Boar Bristle Brush for Slick Backs – $7.99
If you have a daughter or are close to any girl ages 8 and up, you know the slick back is IN in full force. And to get that perfect slicked-back look, you really do need a boar bristle brush – a regular brush just doesn’t do the trick!

tap 4

Tap 4 Game – $7.99
Analese’s family has been playing this game for the past few months and absolutely loves it. Last year, Flip 7, was one our family games of the year and it looks like I’ll need to be adding Tap 4 to our rotation!

Mulitcolor Drip Candles – $5.91
This taper candle is so cool! It looks like a normal candle at first, but once you light it, the wax starts to melt in multicolored drips. It honestly might be the perfect gift for anyone!

Blossom Cuticle Oil – $7.00
I’m not super great about taking care of my cuticles, but maybe if I had this cute bottle with flowers in it, I would be! This would be a great gift for girls, tweens, teens, or beauty lovers.

Butter Squishy – $4.99
This was an unexpected best seller during the summer Prime Days. For some reason the kids love these!

Magnetic Cord Clips – $9.99 for 9
If there’s one thing I cannot stand, it’s cord clutter! These little cord organizers are great for a nightstand or bedside table, keeping your charger off the floor and ready to plug in. They open with an easy little magnet, so swapping out cords is simple.

Body Restore Steamer Eye Masks – $29.99 for 30 ($1 each)
These were a wildly popular teacher gift idea this year. They come in several calming scents and are perfect for relaxing after a long day or soothing tired eyes. This would be a great little treat for someone who needs a relaxing spa day!

Scratch and Sniff Stickers – $5.99
Every kid I know lights up when they get a scratch and sniff sticker on their schoolwork! These are so fun to break up among stockings or gift to friends and neighbor kids.

Car Trash Bags – $25.99 for 5 or $15.99 for 2
I really try to keep my car clean, but with 4 kids in a minivan and all the running around to different events and activities, it’s harder than it seems! These car trash bags at least keep the mess at bay. They come in a big pack of disposable bags you can fill up, tear off, and toss. Such a great gift for busy families.

Rechargeable Camping Light – $7.98
I know this says camping light, but you can use it for so much more than camping! It’s great in the backyard, in the garage, in a treefort, or during a power outage. It’s easy to clip and hang anywhere, it has 3 brightness settings, and it can stay lit for up to 5 hours!

Dryer Vent Cleaning Attachment – $7.99
At first glance this might seem like a silly little gadget, but have you ever cleaned your dryer vent even after pulling all the lint out of the trap? You will be shocked at what’s hiding in there! Just attach this to your vacuum and watch the lint disappear.

Adhesive Dots – $4.99
The options are endless for what you can do with these adhesive dots: party decor, wall hangings, art projects, and keeping furniture or household items in place. They’re one of those things you’re so glad to have on hand when the moment arises!

Heel Pads – $9.99 for 6 pairs
Sometimes you just have those shoes that cause blisters no matter how much you break them in. Or maybe you want to avoid sore heels while you’re still breaking a new pair in. These heel pads are amazing for that!

Double Sided Dress Tape – $7.99
Nobody likes a wardrobe malfunctions. This double-sided fashion tape keeps necklines, straps, and hems in place, and with 100 invisible strips, you’ll be covered for every outfit. It’s a great gift for anyone who loves to dress up.

Nail Art Pens – $7.55
Okay, have you seen nails lately? They’re basically art! These nail art pens make it so easy to try fun designs at home, no salon needed.

Elizavecca Hair Collagen Protein Treatment – $6.99
This little hair treatment feels WAY more luxurious than its $7 price tag! Use it after shampooing like a hair mask to help dry or damaged hair feel smoother, softer and more nourished. Such a fun little beauty gift or stocking stuffer!

Bluey Hide and Seek Game – $7.98
This Bluey Hide and Seek game is really so fun! You hide Bluey somewhere in the house, and while your child is looking for her, she’ll talk every so often so they can listen for clues about where she might be. Such a fun twist on regular hide and seek! Plus she can fit in places an adult wouldn’t be able to hide, making the hiding spots endless.

Thumb Airplane Ejection Kit – $7.98
These are really fun for all ages! I love that they’re soft enough to play with in the house, but you could just as easily toss them in a bag to take to the beach or play with in the backyard. Such an easy little gift that kids will actually use!

Space Saving Hanger Hooks – $8.99 for 60
I’m a practical gift giver and this is right up my alley. Sometimes closets aren’t set up the way you would like them to be. Either with a rod too high or just not enough space. These would solve both of those problems! I also have these hangers for skirts I got from my mom decades ago that I am still using!

Spinning Pen – $7.29
If you know a pen spinner or are a pen spinner, this pen is perfectly weighted for all of the fidgety pen tricks you want to do.

Lobe Wonder – $7.69
Lobe Wonders are such a handy little solution for stretched-out ear piercings or heavy earrings that are uncomfortable to wear. They go on the back of your ear, so they’re completely concealed, and I love that they make it possible to wear earrings you might otherwise skip.

Black out Sleep Mask – $8.99
Not all sleep masks are created equal. In fact a bunch of them leave light peeking in due to the shape of your nose, but this one eliminates that problem. This is a perfect gift for someone who travels a lot or someone who is a light sleeper.

Olive Oil Sprayer – $8.99
I got this for Christmas last year and I truly use it every single day!

Collar Extenders – $7.95
I don’t know what it’s like to wear a shirt and tie, but I do know that Bart hates to be uncomfortable and these collar extenders offer an additional 1/2 inch of neck room. Reminds me of the rubber band around the button trick when I was pregnant!

Ring Sizer – $3.95
I never know what ring size I am, especially since every finger is different! This would be so handy to have around when you’re ordering a ring online for yourself or trying to figure out the right size for someone else.

Headband and Hair Bow Organizer – $8.99
I’m pretty much out of the headband and hair bow season of my life, but we were in deep just a few years ago and this organization system would have been so handy!

XL Mesh Beach Bag – $7.64
I don’t know of any mom that doesn’t love a massive beach bag. And one that doesn’t collect all the sand AND you can see everything in – yes please!

Star Hair Clips – $5.99
One of my family members brought these to our family reunion and all of my girls loved them (and so did I!)! They add a extra touch on any basic hairdo.

Fairy Lights – $4.98 for 6
Jen loves decorating her stair banister and cabinet with these lights during Christmas. They are so delicate and twinkly and add so much holiday ambiance. This is a steal for 6 strings of lights for under $5!

Play-doh Holiday Pack – $11.99 for 2
Each pack has 10 mini containers of play-doh. That’s 20 containers for $11.99, making each one only 59 cents! You could give the set or break them up for stocking stuffers or little kid friend gifts.

Eye Mask – $9.99 for 24
These would make a great stocking stuffer for any teen girl or mom! These come out to about 41 cents each and would be great to break up for gifts.

Water color set – $4.99
My daughters did some watercolor sets on our trip to Orcas island earlier this year and they were a big hit! This set looks awesome for $5 and an easy way to try out a new hobby.
