A Versatile Blouse (and a White Plum Giveaway!)

When I did the great purge of my closet, it was immediately apparent to me that tops were the mega weak spot in my closet.
For years, it was pants. I generally owned a single pair of jeans I liked. But right now, I have a decent collection of pants I like and that fit me well and I have to keep myself from buying more.
This blouse from White Plum is exactly what I was looking for. A nice mix of neutral and fun – I love the little studs on the hem, but I like that they are subtle too – and it’s easy to dress up or down. (If you use the code JANSSEN20, you’ll get 20% off your whole order until May 7th).
White Plum isn’t new to me (I wrote a post for them last year about my secrets for visiting a new city) and I love their wide variety of cute tops, dresses. And I really like that it’s a woman-owned business, started by a mom.
They’re giving away a $75 gift certificate to their shop (I have my eye on this top – I won’t even let myself look at non-shirt items right now), and you’ll definitely have no problem finding something you love.

  1. Love this top. So, so interesting.

I always love my scarves and leather jacket for transition times. Perfect layering items that can be taken off and stashed in a purse or draped over my arm when it gets too warm in the afternoon, but right there to the rescue when I catch a shiver.

  2. Versatile sandals and light sweaters to go over anything in the cool evenings!

  3. My summer staples usually involve a solid colored t-shirt and a maxi skirt/pair of shorts…usually beloved cut-off jorts ;)…I could probably branch out this year!

  4. My summer staple is usually a pair of shorts or jeans that I can pair with different tops and sandals.

  5. I love dresses! mostly short ones and A-line. or the fit and flare type that is popular right now. I need my dresses~! but they must go with sandals!

  6. I love sundresses. One piece, no need to look for what "matches" or whatever, just throw it on and go.

  7. You are very pretty, but with your fair skin, I think you look better in colors, not white. The blouse does look very comfortable, though.

  8. I've always been a little self-conscious about my legs, but now that I'm a runner, I love shorts. There are so many colors and patterns out now!

  9. Love dresses! And need more of them….but not before I get this baby weight off. Love this top though!
