I’ve always loved a good fairy tale retelling and this is one of the ones I remember best from my childhood. My mom read this Beauty and the Beast retelling aloud to us and I woke up in the middle of the night to see her reading it in the hallways because she couldn’t wait to see how it would turn out! I love that this one gives you way more backstory for Beauty’s family and I really love her sisters and their sweet relationship. It has such great character development and it’s just a delight all around.

Funny You Should Ask by Elissa Sussman – ebook – $1.99
Chani is a young journalist who wants to make it big, and when she interviews her celebrity crush, it is a life-changing experience both professionally and personally. Ten years later, they meet again and both realize that the 72 hours spent during the interview meant more than they thought. This one is on par with Book Lovers, steaminess wise.

Thank You For Listening by Julia Whelan – audiobook – $3.99
I LOVE Julia Whelan’s audiobook narration (she narrates Book Lovers!) and her book that she wrote (and narrated!) was an instant best seller. This book is especially fun because it’s all about the world of audiobook narrating. The main character, Sewanee, used to be an actress, but now she has moved into audiobook narration. She got her start in romance novels which she’s decided to leave that behind her, but she gets roped into doing one last romance project. This final project ends up being with the most popular male audiobook narrator of the romance genre, Brock McKnight. You will definitely want to listen to this one on audio! Heads up for one brief open door scene.

Shipwreck at the Bottom of the World: The Extraordinary True Story of Shackleton and the Endurance by Jennifer Armstrong – audiobook – $1.99
I first learned about Shackleton in college when a friend wrote a paper about him and I was hooked on this incredible story of Ernest Shackleton and his 27 men who got trapped in ice as they attempted to cross Antarctica and then spent five months camping on ice floes, finally navigating 800 miles of open ocean in a tiny boat to find a rescue ship. I can’t stop thinking about this one! This is a great family road trip audiobook!

Summer Romance by Annabel Monaghan – audiobook – $4.99
What’s summer reading without a little romance? I loved her book Nora Goes Off Script, and I loved this one even more! It follows Ali who is a professional organizer and a personal mess as she becomes a new single mom. Will a summer romance make her life more or less messy?

The Rose Code by Kate Quinn – audiobook – $4.99
I finally read my first Kate Quinn book (The Briar Club) for Everyday Reading Book Club and was so enthralled that I knew I needed to read another one! I immediately downloaded The Rose Code, about three women recruited to be codebreakers during WWII. I was all in on this one. My summer reading list is basically just her whole backlist.

The Griffin Sisters’ Greatest Hits by Jennifer Weiner – audiobook – $3.99
This one really sucked me in (and broke my heart)! Sisters Cassie and Zoe skyrocketed to fame as the Griffin Sisters in the early 2000s, only to vanish from the spotlight after a sudden and unexplained breakup. Now, two decades later, Zoe’s daughter is determined to uncover the truth, forcing all three women to reckon with the past.

Amari and the Metalwork Menace by B. B. Alston – audiobook – $4.99
I read the first book in this middle grade series to my girls and we were instantly sucked in! This is the fourth book in the series and is perfect if you have a child who loves mystery and adventure. (Plus, this one is a Libro.FM deal so you can use it to make a Yoto card!)
