6 Excellent Book Deals for the Start of March
I’ve been doing a LOT of reading this week since my family is on a big trip in Australia and there were MANY hours on that long flight to listen to audiobooks and read.
(P.S. We bought our tickets when they were really cheap last summer – here’s what we use to score cheap plane flights!).
Here are some of my favorite book deals going on this weekend!
How I Met Your Brother by Janette Rallison
I recommend Janette Rallison all the time when people ask for clean book recommendations. She’s so funny and her books are just 100% delightful. I loved this one, it is just an absolutely fun and fluffy read! Seriously, GRAB THIS ONE. (And if you are looking for more YA romance novels this list has several – that I would even let my teen read!)
Just Listen by Sarah Dessen
I can’t help but love Sarah Dessen and I enjoyed every second of this book, especially the parts where Macy and Wes (sa-woon) and then Remy and Dexter made cameos. I love them all.
What the Dog Saw by Malcolm Gladwell
This collection of essays is one of his best, I think (which is saying something since I generally do not care for), and the format means it is easy to read one or two at a time. (Full review here).
On the Edge of the Dark Sea of Darkness by Andrew Peterson
The three gifted Igiby siblings pull together their smarts, heart, and courage to defeat the evil Fangs of Dang who have crossed the dark sea to rule the land with malice. This audiobook also includes a PDF of maps, illustrations and character guides. (Plus, it’s a Libro.fm book, so you can make your own Yoto card with it!)
Lilac Girls by Martha Hall Kelly
This one about three separate women with interwoven lives during World War II has been on my TBR list for years. With it on sale and another long flight back to the US after Australia, this might be my chance to read it!
Tress of the Emerald Sea by Brandon Sanderson
This is the April book for the 2025 Everyday Reading Book Club, and now is the perfect time to snag it! This one has been compared to The Princess Bride (so of course I was sold!). A fun adventure about pirates, a sorceress and plenty of magic.
