10 Book Deals for Mother’s Day Weekend
We’re spending the weekend camping with friends, so I can pretty much guarantee I’m not getting any reading in until we get home, but I’m definitely planning on some good time with my Kindle and a cozy blanket on Sunday!
Here are some of my favorite book deals going on right now:

Famous Last Words by Gillian McAllister – ebook – $1.99
This was my first book by her and I am definitely planning to read more! Camilla is ready to return to work after maternity leave, but her husband is gone with a cryptic note in his place. Moments later, the news breaks: there’s a hostage situation in London… and he’s the gunman. This one is full of twists and secrets!

Meditation for Mortals by Oliver Burkeman – ebook – $3.99
I loved this witty, wise guide to embracing life as it is (no matter how messy and imperfect it may be)! If you’re craving meaningful change without the hustle culture guilt trip, this one’s for you. I think I will be buying my own copy of this to have on hand – I could have marked up every page. It’s also designed to be read one chapter a day and each chapter is only 2-3 pages long so it’s very doable!

Red Rising by Pierce Brown – ebook – $2.99
This was one made it to The 15+ Favorite Books of 2025 from the Everyday Reading Community, so it must be good! Darrow is a simple miner on Mars, working as hard as possible to prepare Mars for the rest of civilization. Despite his efforts, he soon realizes he has been betrayed by society. Mars is already thriving with cities, lush greenery and much more – making him realize that he and his people (the Reds) are nothing more than slaves for the rest of mankind. Darrow sacrifices everything to infiltrate the ruling classes school in his design to destroy the society from within.

Ramona Quimby Audio Collection – audiobook – $6.99
My girls have listened non-stop to every Ramona book. There’s a reason they’re still so popular, all these years later. We love this audiobook collection for under $7! It’s a steal for 19 hours of audio (8 books in 1). (Plus, this one is a Libro.FM deal so you can use it to make a Yoto card!)

City Spies by James Ponti – audiobook – $2.15
I cannot believe this audiobook is under $3 right now — and it’s not just this one… the entire series is on sale for only $2.15 each! City Spies is the story of five kids from all over the world brought together to operate out of a secret MI6 base in Scotland, working on cases that adults can’t get anywhere near. It’s clever and funny and fast-paced and a total kid pleaser. (This one is a Libro.FM deal so you can use it to make a Yoto card!)

The Frog & Toad Audio Collection by Arnold Lobel – audiobook – $4.99
Read by the author, these are just SO delightful. They have fun music and I just feel happy whenever I hear these in the car or playing in our house. I love every single one of these sweet stories and my girls have listened to the whole collection a million times – it’s the audio collection that got my toddlers into audiobooks. (This one is a Libro.FM deal so you can use it to make a Yoto card!)

Alone by Megan E. Freeman – audiobook – $2.15
This middle grade survival novel written in verse sounds riveting! Twelve-year-old Maddie wakes up to a nightmare: her town has been mysteriously evacuated, leaving her completely alone. With no power, internet, or help, Maddie must rely on her ingenuity, a loyal Rottweiler named George, and her love of books to survive. Facing natural disasters, looters, and crushing loneliness, Maddie’s determination is tested as she fights to endure the most challenging experience of her life. (This one is a Libro.FM deal so you can use it to make a Yoto card!)

The First State of Being by Erin Entrada Kelly – audiobook – $5.99
A friend in my neighborhood invited my 10 year old and me to join a mother/daughter book club and this Newbery winner was the first pick. Set in 1999, this clever coming-of-age story follows 12-year-old Michael, who is already anxious about Y2K, until a mysterious teen named Ridge arrives claiming to be a time traveler – not to mention he has a book detailing the next 20 years! (This one is a Libro.FM deal so you can use it to make a Yoto card!)

The Unselected Journals of Emma M. Lion (Vol. 1 – Vol. 5) Bundle by Beth Brower – audiobook – $14.99 (or $2.99 each!)
I can’t believe the first 5 books are on sale for under $3 – or you can buy the entire bunder for under $15! If you’ve been around for awhile, you know I love this series! I had read the entire series twice before these came out on audio and I was so excited to try out the audio version – wait until you hear all the voices the narrator does! And if you struggled getting into the physical books, I’m telling you the audiobook really helps.

The Party Crasher by Sophie Kinsella – audiobook – $4.99
I have read so many of Sophie Kinsella books and this one charmed me. It has all the things she does well – sweet relationships, snappy dialogue, and a little bit of the absurd that makes her books extra fun. I read it in 24 hours and kept laughing out loud during it (and also got a little teary during some of it – I love a book that can do both!).
