Fashion Raiding My Sister's Closet

Raiding My Sister’s Closet: Clothing Swap

If you were following along on Instagram two weeks ago, you probably already know that my whole family was together in Las Vegas before my brother left on his mission.
This was the first time in two years that all three of us sisters had been together, so obviously we took advantage of the chance to go through our suitcases and swap around a few items (I mean, what are sisters for, if not to steal their clothing?).
From Merrick, I nabbed this shirt
Because it’s turning into summer, I like to wear dark colors with something really light or bright. I think dark-wash jeans would have just made this outfit too wintery.
(Also, a few people asked last time I wore white jeans about keeping them clean with kids. Bleach. And avoiding picking up your children with their dirty little shoes).
Shirt: Trend Addictions // Jeans: Aeropostale
Sandals: American Eagle

And from Landen, I borrowed this dress.

It has three-quarter sleeves and I think the print is a little loud for me on it’s own without something to break it up.

I added this jacket (will I ever stop loving this jacket? I hope not), and instantly liked it a thousand times more.

Dress: Banana Republic // Jacket: Kohl’s
Shoes: Nine West // Sunglasses: Bonlook
Check out what Merrick and Landen‘s borrowed from me and each other:

I purchased this dress to wear to a semi-formal event. The dress arrived in an envelope, but was not too badly wrinkled. I ordered a size 10 and I am 5' 10". The dress was long enough.
