4 Favorite Things for February

Hard to believe February is wrapping up!

I always feel like once you make it through February, you’ve pretty much survived winter.

Here are some of my favorite products this month (plus picks from my team below!).

cashmere socks

Cashmere Socks
These were on my Christmas wishlist and they’ve been even better than I hoped – so soft and cozy! I love the colors and wear all three of them most weeks and am so happy when they come out of the washing machine ready for another wear!

home candle

Home Candle
Especially on cold, gray days I love a good candle and I’m PICKY about which candles I actually like. This was a new brand to me (started by two sisters!) and I ordered the Home one to try it out. I’ve been so impressed that I can’t wait to try out some of the other scents too!

coloring book

Coloring Books
I ordered these darling coloring books for my girls to use while I read aloud to them at night and it is magical how quiet they are and how they want me to keep reading longer and longer (these are the pencil sets they use – we gave them all a set for Christmas in 2023 and they are fantastic pencils at a bananas good price).

woven flats

Woven Flats
I had a somewhat similar pair of shoes that I bought secondhand several years ago and wore them until they were absolutely falling apart. When I spotted these, I snatched them up so quickly and I can’t wait to wear them all spring, summer and fall! (They definitely run a bit big. I’m a very true size 6 and I could have done a 5.5 for sure).

And here are the picks from my team!

Analese

Swimsuit Cover Up
I have a beach vacation coming up and I’ve always worn a tank top and jean shorts over my swimsuits, but sometimes I just don’t feel like wearing jeans. I wanted something a little bit more comfortable. When I saw this floating around the internet I decided to give it a try even though I thought it might look like something my grandma crocheted. And much to my surprise it’s MUCH cuter in person and looks really cute with a bright suit under it!

Kelsey

What to Cook When You Don’t Feel Like Cooking Cookbook
I originally checked this cookbook out from the library while I was in a meal planning funk and then quickly added it to my shopping cart because I was so impressed. I have already made 7 recipes and my 3 and 6 year old devoured each of them! What I love most is that the cookbook is broken down into length of time (15 min meals, 30 min meals, etc) and they are all very simple, yet flavorful and fun. It’s definitely a cookbook I plan to keep referencing in the future.

Jennifer

Two Piece Lounge Set. I got this set after I saw someone share it on Instagram and it has exceeded my expectations. I wear them for pajamas, but it’s also nice to have a lounge set that is also cute to wear around the house or over to a game night at a friend’s house. The top does have ruching on the sides which I hate because it reminds me of maternity shirts, but it was very easy to remove the elastic on the sides and now I love the set.

Fleece Lined Tights
This winter I’ve been committed to dressing properly for the cold weather, even if I’m only going to be outside for a few minutes. These fleece lined tights have been a big help in this effort, keeping me plenty warm when wearing a skirt or dress. And just $13!
