The Best Puzzles of 2025
For the last few years, I’ve done a post about my favorite puzzles I’ve done that year.
This year, I thought it’d be fun to ask YOU what your favorite puzzles of the year were. And boy, did you deliver – my to-buy list for puzzles just got WAY bigger!
(And if you’re curious, the best puzzle I did in 2024 was this Farmers Market one!)

The World of Jane Austen
1000 pieces
I gave the Agatha Christie puzzle to my father-in-law for his birthday a few years ago (after I did the Great Gatsby one and loved it!). As you build the puzzle you will begin to notice clues and characters from the book – talk about a puzzle and book-lovers dream! And how fun would it be to work on one of these puzzles while listening to the book on audio? There are several other “World of” puzzles including: The World of King Arthur, The World of Agatha Christie, and The World of Sherlock Holmes

Magic Puzzle Company: Awakened Artifacts
1000 pieces
These puzzles are not your ordinary puzzles, and trust me, I have done my fair share of puzzles. When I asked about favorite puzzles of the year, Magic Puzzles came up over and over and over again! They are beautifully designed so that every piece is fun to look at and there’s a surprise when you reach the end! I love that so many of you get to experience the absolute fun of these (and right now they’re Buy 1 Get 1 50% off!)! I wrote a whole post about why these puzzles are so cool if you want more details here!

Ravensburger Disney Storybook
1500 pieces
For all the Disney lovers out there, I could totally understand this being a favorite puzzle of the year (I did this Disney Ravensburger puzzle in 2024 and it was one of my favorite puzzles of the year!). It’s packed with classic characters, and it would be so fun watching them all come together as you build it. Plus, it’s a bigger one at 1,500 pieces, so it’ll keep you busy (in the best way) for a while.

Charles Wysocki Old Homestead
1000 pieces
Even if you don’t know him by name, I am quite certain most puzzlers have seen a puzzle designed by Charles Wysocki. His vintage designs are a classic and give off that old time feel.

Galison Beside the Sea
500 pieces
If you haven’t heard yet, Galison is one of my favorite puzzle brands. The pieces are high quality AND I haven’t seen a design I haven’t absolutely loved! I loved seeing this one snag a top spot because it’s one of my all-time favorites!

Ridley’s Broadway
1000 piece
I am a huge Broadway fan! I think this puzzle would be so much fun as you slowly start piecing together all of the show billboards.

Vintage Wildflower Book Puzzles
1000 piece
Books and flowers?! Two of my favorite things in one puzzle – yes please. I can totally picture working on this out on the deck on a perfect summer day with a fun audiobook playing in the background – putting this on my wishlist immediately!

Spaghetti Tree Farmers Market Puzzle
1000 pieces
This is one of my favorite puzzle brands and it seems like it’s one of yours too! Other favorite puzzles that made the cut were their Utah puzzle and Delicate Work of Arch puzzle. They also have really fun mini puzzles! Use my code EVERYDAYREADING15 for a discount.

Puzzle Folk Culinary Chaos
1000 pieces
PuzzleFolk puzzles were new to me a few years ago and I can’t get enough! They have such vibrant colors and they’re an absolute delight. You cannot go wrong with some beautiful kitchen items. This other one with fun cowboy boots came highly recommended too! You can use my affiliate link JANSSEN for a discount.

New York Puzzle Co Pemberton Quill & Parchment
1000 pieces
Have you seen Loré Pemberton’s puzzles? They’re the perfect mix of folky and vintage, and this one especially hits all my favorite things. Please take me to this library immediately.

Sea Turtle Jigsaw Puzzle
500 pieces
I can’t say I have ever done a puzzle of embroidery. This one looks stunning, and I could see my girls wanting to help me with this one.

Pickforu National Parks Puzzle
1000 Pieces
This puzzle is packed with iconic parks and gorgeous scenery, so it’s basically a mini road trip in puzzle form. It’s colorful, fun to work on, and perfect if you love spotting little details while you build (and maybe adding a few parks to your future travel list while you’re at it).

Sunlit Evening
500 pieces
This is the first time I’ve come across puzzles from 1Canoe2, and the artwork is so pretty. This countryside evening scene especially gives off the most peaceful, dreamy vibes.

Eeboo’s the Alchemist Home
1000 Pieces
How fun is this old Victorian house?! I love that you get to peek into all the different rooms, with little surprises tucked throughout. It’s not technically a Halloween puzzle, but it would be such a fun one to do during spooky season anyway.

Galison Mudpuppy Cool Cats A-Z
1000 pieces
I’ll be honest – I’m not a huge animal person (we don’t have pets and I don’t see that changing anytime soon), but for all the cat lovers out there, this one actually looks really cute and fun. And I can totally get behind a pet in a puzzle!

Holly Maguire Book Nerd
1000 pieces
I own and love this puzzle, so I’m not at all surprised to see it showing up on this list – it’s so pretty and so satisfying to put together.

Cobble Hill Call of the Wild
350 pieces
The scene on this one is playful and fun, and I love that it comes with three different piece sizes all in one box (small, medium, and large). With just 350 pieces, it’s totally doable in a day and easy to pull your kids in to help, which makes it even more fun.

White Mountain 1990s
1000 pieces
I did my first White Mountain puzzle a couple of year ago (with zero knowledge of them whatsoever!) and when I shared about it on Instagram, I got a FLOOD of messages from people telling me it was their favorite puzzle brand and I now I know why – the puzzle itself and the designs are SO GOOD. These are some other really fun ones – Movies, lunch boxes, television, Cereal boxes, National Parks, Candy Bars.
Any other favorite puzzles of the year I shouldn’t miss? Let me know in the comments!

Thank you so much for this round up! I love puzzles but am VERY picky about the brand. For the most part, I’ve only done White Mountain puzzles. I’m excited to try some of these brands because I know you understand the assignment of a quality puzzle 😉 Also–bonus points for the brand that has the mini puzzles because sometimes you just need a mini!
Do you ever consider framing your finished puzzles and using them as artwork?
That doesn’t match the style of my home, but I know some people love doing it!
I’ve had my eye on the spaghetti tree puzzles. My favorite new puzzle was probably the Ravensburger Christmas market puzzle. We also just redid the Orient Express puzzle by Maria Rivans. It was very satisfying! I have the World of Agatha Christie still to do from last Christmas. We love the World of Shakespeare and all of the details from the plays hidden in it. We’ll pull it out again when we study Elizabeth I and Shakespeare in our homeschool in a few months.
