6 Items on My Birthday Wishlist

It is VERY weird to be rapidly approaching 40 (I’m turning 39 this month!).

Frankly, life feels as good as it ever has and I feel lucky pretty much every day.

I’m excited for this next year leading up to my 40th birthday (we have a lot of fun trips planned!) and I’m excited to celebrate next week with family and friends.

Here are a few items on my birthday wishlist this year!

6 Items on My Birthday Wishlist

Ankle Strap Heels
My sister shared the link for these cute dressy shoes and I knew immediately I wanted a pair! At this point, any heels without a block heel are hard for me to wear for any long period of time so these are perfect.

12 pound weights
I’ve been working out more and more at home this summer and fall (I just can’t bring myself to wake up for a 6 a.m. class very often right now) and if I’m working out at home, I always do a strength training video from this program (it’s $3 for a year!). We have a lot of weights, but we don’t have a set of 12 pound dumbells, which I find myself frequently wanting when 10 is a little light but 15 is a little heavy.

Bracelets
I got a permanent bracelet a few years ago and after a year or so, it stretched out (I didn’t even realize this would happen with metal!) and got too big and loose. Since then, I’ve switched to sized bracelets so they’re just the right size and I can wear them 24/7 but they do have a clasp so I can take them off if I need or want to. Right now I have one on each wrist, but I’d like a couple more! (My affiliate code is JANSSEN).

Melamine Dessert Plates
We have plates, cups and bowls for outdoor dining but we don’t have any smaller plates which makes it tricky for dessert (or kids who don’t need a full size plate!). I’d love a couple of sets of these so we didn’t have to keep buying disposable ones!

Manoa Chocolate Bars
A few weeks ago some friends hosted a dinner party and we brought along a selection of fun chocolate bars for everyone to try. One of them was this Passion Fruit bar which the most popular of the bunch. I’d never had this brand of chocolate but now I want to try all their Hawaiian flavors, including Banana, Coconut, and Mango! (We bought them at a local upscale grocery store – Harmon’s, if you’re in Utah! – and they were much less expensive there than on Amazon).

Geometry fall napkins

Fall Napkins
We have a fancy Sunday dinner pretty much every week, complete with goblets and cloth napkins and I want some good fall napkins! I’ve loved our Geometry dinner napkins because they have gorgeous patterns, wash like a dream, and don’t need to be ironed (hallelujah!). They just released six fall patterns that are SO pretty (I especially have my eye on the Rustic Autumn Plaid and the Trail Dusting Gold). My affiliate code for Geometry is JANSSEN15.

  1. Happy Birthday! I love your lists throughout the year. Where is that white shirt from in the top picture with green pants?
