The $12 tee I love so much I bought it in 3 colors

Summer weather is taking a bit to really get in swing around here (it’s rained at least half of the days since school got out), but it’s slowly getting nicer and we’re soaking up all the sunshine we can!
In early May, I switched out all our winter wardrobes for our summer ones (I do this every spring and fall) and then it is easy to see what holes there are to fill in both my closet and the girls’ closet (Bart does NOT rotate his wardrobe and he’s on his own to fill closet holes!).
My very favorite thing I’ve added to my closet this summer has been this $12 ribbed tee from Walmart.
It actually wasn’t a new item for me – I’d ordered it for the first time in the Bone color (white, basically), back in November, and I wore it non-stop either on its own or layered with a jacket or sweater.
I also bought the long sleeve version in pink and it was an absolute closet STAPLE for me all winter and spring long. It’s one of those items that I waited all week for it to come out of the wash and I always felt like a million bucks wearing it – the fit was perfect, it looked brand new even after 30+ washes and wears, and worked with lots of clothing items.
So when summer finally rolled around, I ordered another of the short sleeve versions in black (my love for a black shirt will never die) and also an orange striped one which has been a fun, happy addition to my summer wardrobe.
It’s just such a GREAT shirt and looks way more high-end than the $12 price tag. The ribbing is A+ (not too thick and not too thin), I love the length of the sleeves and the seam up the back.
If you’ve been paying attention to Walmart fashion (they’ve REALLY stepped it up in the past few years), this is from the Free Assembly line which is SO good – I’ve bought several items from it in the last couple of years and they’ve held up so well and look and feel great.
Plus, it comes in 32 different colors (some solids, some stripes – I have my eye on this blue and white striped version) and it’s available in sizes XS through XXXL (it runs true to size – I’m wearing an XS which is my normal size).
I ordered them online from Walmart and they came right to my doorstep – my favorite way to shop!
If you’re looking for a great tee for the summer, this is the one.
I have been searching for affordable stripes! Added a bunch to cart. Can’t wait to try them! Thanks!
