Thanks everyone for the suggestions!
I can't believe you haven't read Fablehaven yet Janssen! And These Is My Words is one of my most favorite books. I'm glad you're liking Boston! Lauree
I'm glad I got in on the ground floor with my first pick because it seems unlikely that the odds will be in my favor again! Nevertheless, I figure tossing in a recommendation for the good of the order can't hurt.
So, what I really want to know is, are there any books that are suggested that you think, "No. No. No. No. No."?
I am going to add some of those to my library wish list. I need to be a better reader…
I'm so glad you are reading A Tree Grows in Brooklyn. That would have been my suggestion. It's one of the top 10 most moving books I've read. I hope you review it.
I've heard great things about "Art of Racing in the Rain," and we have a long hold list. I'll be curious to see how you like it since its focus is on a pet (you're not crazy about them if I remember).
Oh, yay! I hope you enjoy it. It is about a dog, and I am NOT a pet person at all but I loved this book!
I've heard The art of racing in the rain is supposed to be very good. enjoy! How was your first few days, anyway??
I'm interested in what you thought of The Time Traveler's Wife. I was excited to read it and enjoyed the story – but found it drowned out by constant foul language and lude interjections. I'm hoping the movie pull sout the best parts!
