What I Want Today
I wish for a subscription to The Horn Book Magazine, a lovely little magazine that reviews books for children and young adults and features tons of fantastic articles about everything related to books.
I have spent many hours this semester on the top floor of the university library, sitting on the floor, reading old issues of the magazine, and loving every moment of it.
What random thing do you want today?
I want it to be Saturday already!

And about the inbox thing. I delete junk and keep the rest in the never ending list of inbox. BUT if I ever need anything I can just search the mail. But I love the title b/c I love seeing I have something in my inbox and get really disappointed when it is just junk!
Went to a beautiful little store called “Gatherings” in which I mentally noted that the entire store should belong to me.
Piece by piece.
I want the fine layer of sawdust on everything I own GONE and the wood floor I’ve been sanding for 4 millenia finished. Oh, and my own bed tonight after spending last night with 24 7th and 8th graders on a retreat…oh yes, my silence too.
Just one thing, hmmm….. a sesame bread loaf from Israel with olive oil and herbs for dipping.
one thing- a large vanilla iced coffee from McDonalds.
or a nice travel mug that will fit in my cup holders.
or a new pair of black boots
or brown.
I want a maid. A free maid. I don’t feel well, and I need to clean my house. So a maid would be quite handy.
I did that the other day too! I love libraries!
I want some pumpkin ice cream! I think Coldstone has some but, alas, it’s Sunday.

I could say the one thing I want today is for my daughter to actually take a nap – and she is! So it is a very good day indeed.
