The most popular things I shared in June

I can hardly believe June is done – I’m already dreading the end of summer!

Books and games were super popular last month and I love hearing how they make your summer days at home or road trips and plane flights more enjoyable!

Here are the top ten most popular things I shared in June!

colored pencils

Amazon Colored Pencils
No surprise that these pencils topped the list – they were the #1 best seller for all of 2024. My girls use ours all the time and I keep a good supply of them for birthday gifts (I like to give them with one of these coloring books!)

Joyspun Pajama Set
I’ve talked about these pajamas (under $17!) so many times and they have so many CUTE patterns! Nothing is better than a cute cozy pair of pjs! These were WILDLY popular in June!

Foldology
I absolutely love seeing that this origami puzzle pack is still gracing the best sellers list even months after I first shared about it! This activity is perfect for airplane flights, road trips, or just an activity for extra summer time at home. My girls LOVED these on our long flights and I just bought more at my kids’ request after our Mt. Rushmore road trip.

Okay for Now
This is was the June book for Everyday Reading Book Club, and I loved to see that everyone was excited for it as I was! This one is one of my all-time favorite books. It is a companion book to The Wednesday Wars but stands solidly alone. This is middle grade at its finest – I cried reading it on an airplane the first time. (If you’re new to Everyday Reading Book Club, I have a whole post here about how it works!).

Summer Brain Quest
A ton of you snagged these workbooks while they have been on sale to gear up for summer! My girls use these workbooks all summer long (especially to play “school”) and they’ve been hits year after year. I love that they’re full-color, designed for summer use, and super interactive.

Kanoodle
After eyeing this for YEARS, I finally bought this one person game for Ani’s 12th birthday because she loves these kinds of brain teaser puzzles. Plus, the reviews are nuts! Tons of you bought it after I shared it on my 45+ Screen-Free Road Games and Activities blog post! It packs up easily so it’s perfect for on the go!

free assembly tee

Free Assembly Cropped Boxy Tee
You know something is really good when it continues to be a best seller month after month and this tee from Walmart is GOOD – I wore the white one a million times last summer and this year I added a black one to the rotation! It’s also available in gray and a navy stripe version, and they’re all only $8 plus they’re 100% organic cotton (the website doesn’t say organic but the tags on the shirts do!).

iFly Luggage
You know it’s travel season when so many of you bought luggage! I shared about our go-to carry-on bags and you all snatched them up! There are several color options, they have held up great, you really can’t beat the price ($70-80), and with 45,000 5-star reviews…I’m not the only one who is obsessed!

Murdle Jr
I gave these to my girls for Easter and they were a huge hit! For kids ages 8-12 who like brain teasers or Wordle type games, this version makes them the detective as they crack mystery after mystery. And for avid Murdle Jr. fans, they just released Murdle Jr. Volume 2 AND a Murdle Jr. mystery novel!

Missing Unicorn Puzzle Adventures
I bought Murdle Jr books for all four of my kids for Easter, but they were a little tricky for my 8 year old. I bought this interactive mystery book for her instead and she was hooked instantly! They’re full color and graphic novel style with puzzles and riddles on every page. Perfect for trips or a reader who wants something more interactive than your typical novel.
