Dinnertime
I was just thinking the other night as I was making dinner how MUCH I like not feeling sick anymore. That first part of pregnancy is still very near to my mind.
Also, you can tell when we’re getting the CSA box because suddenly every recipe I make for dinner is from Perry’s Plate.
(By the way, of COURSE I didn’t cook this much in one week – this is a couple of weeks put together to make a nice looking little menu where I pretend we didn’t once have Chex with strawberries for dinner and call it good).
Monday
- Smokey Greens over Polenta – one of my favorite ways to use up greens. Hello, bacon!
- Garlic Bread
- Grapes
Tuesday
- Sweet Potato Chicken Curry – huge ingredient list, but pretty quick prep time. Also, delicious. Ella ate tons of this.
- Naan Bread (I just used leftover pizza dough and it was excellent)
- Peaches
Wednesday
- Thai Peanut Noodles – this is one of my go-to recipes when I’m running late and just need something quick, easy, and tasty.
- Sauteed squash with dill
- Grapes
Thursday
- Fiesta Chicken Salad – This one requires some planning, so I threw together the dressing and marinade before some afternoon outings and when we got home, it was only about thirty minutes until dinner was on the table.
- Plums
Friday
- Tin Foil Sweet Potato Tacos – I served this when my cousins were visiting and they both loved it (or pretended to). Such a crowd-pleaser.
- Green beans
- Mixed Fruit Plate
What are you eating this week?
P.S. You can check out my previous weekly menus or my absurdly large collection of main dish ideas on Pinterest.
Just thought I would let you know that your link for Sweet Potato Tacos goes to a recipe for Creamy Orzo!

Thank you! Fixed.
Smoky greens and polenta?? Nom!! I have to make this right away (or someday lol).
I dream about those sweet potato tacos-yum. I need to make them again and stick in the freezer for quick lunches. Thank you for the curry recipe-it looks delicious.
I'm glad we aren't the only ones who eat cereal for dinner on occasion.
I think curry will be on this weeks menu for sure!
I should check out Perry's Plate more often. My go to blogs are OBB and Mel's Kitchen Cafe. And, of course, what looks good on Pinterest that week 🙂
Those tacos look super yummy.
So since I am in that lovely phase of NOT feeling well, any tips? I swear the first time this part was easier…maybe because I wasn't also taking care of a toddler?
Also, I love reading your menus.
I love to see what people are making for dinner!
I just made those tin foil sweet potatoe tacos last night!
