Can’t Post . . . Can’t Think
Welcome to Vegas! Why do I have nothing to say?
My mom always comments that on a flight into Vegas, it is like a party. Everyone’s laughing and ordering alcohol. On the flights out of Vegas, though, it’s a funeral; everyone is quiet and subdued.
Yesterday was definitely a party day – there was a group of University of Texas students who had just finished finals. Some girl had turned 21 and her dad was flying her and thirty friends out to Vegas to spend one night. (Seriously?) THEY were pretty thrilled to be on this flight.
Anyway, it’s lovely to be here. Even without thirty friends.
That is so true about Vegas flights. And wow, why didn’t I have a friend like that in college? Sheesh!
It IS lovely to be here. And don’t worry – I’ll be all 30 friends rolled into 1. If you want, I can even do several different personalities and accents to make it feel like you’re traveling with a big group of friends from all over the world.
Let me know.
You’re coming so soon!!!!
What a sweet comment from your husband!
Bart is getting pre-tty good at the funny comment thing.
I’m glad to know you made it safely although Texas (us) misses you.
Nothing worse than being stuck in a small space with a bunch of annoying people. I’ll bet it’s good to be home though.
Please tell me the weather’s nice and warm. I arrive there on Friday to spend Christmas with the fam. In N Out, here I come!
Enjoy Vegas and have a very Merry Christmas!
Your mom is totally right — i remember thinking the same thing, but i was always traveling there (alone) and for work.
Thanks for visiting and leaving me a comment. Oh and hi le petit chic! small world!
You know, I will be in Vegas from tomorrow until Saturday. I’ll be hanging in the strip the whole time with the band until the bowl game on Saturday, so you can come see me then if you wish. 😉 I guess it will do to just be in the same city as you, that way I can just feel your aura. Merry Christmas!
Hurray for Vegas! (And hurray for funny-man Bart! Classic!)
