Today I am . . .

  • Missing my mom. Her week here sped by way too fast.
  • Glad that Bart has the rest of the month off.
  • Snuggling my sweet little baby (and trying to figure out the Moby wrap that Merrick made for me).
  • Watching Craigslist for a double running stroller.
  • Eating the leftover enchiladas a lovely friend brought for dinner over the weekend.
  • Wrapping and shipping a couple of last Christmas presents.
  • Rejoicing that I now have more than five items of clothing to wear.
  • Taking a little family walk to the park.
  • So sad about the shootings last week – it just breaks my heart.
  • Patting myself on the back for having ordered Christmas cards.

  1. I LOVED my stretchy wrap and, not that you asked for them, but here are some good instructions I always send my friends who are trying to figure out the wraps.

This is a link to the wrap I always used.

Here is the newborn carry I will definitely try next time, but didn't know about this time.

Here is a chart that shows a lot of different wraps and how to do them.

  2. Weird, it seems to have deleted all my links, so I guess if you want instructions, let me know and I'll send you the links. 🙂 Congratulations on another darling baby!

  3. She is seriously so sweet. I tried to ask Bart to send more pics, but did he? NO. 🙂 (I would welcome an email full of as many pictures as you want to send.) Sounds like a great day. Enjoy it!

  4. Figuring out your moby will be the best thing you've ever done. Okay maybe that is too strong, but it's a worthwhile endeavor!

  5. I am also re-reading The Happiness Project right now! Thought that the end of the year was a good time to read this book and make plans for improving next year. How nice that Bart gets so much time off with the new baby!

  6. I definitely recommend finding some you tube videos of how to use wraps for various carries. It helps so much, and I find myself going back to a few sites as my baby gets older to learn about other ways to use the wrap.
